He kind of looks like the barber from 'Coming To America':
Let’s wait until all the facts are in before making sweeping comments.
For 10 years, these girls were prostituted to neighborhood men who never reported the conditions they were held in.
We’ll find out soon enough who the real heroes were—and which evil men were the enablers of the monsters.
I got no problem with him. He has a right to some pride.
Ramsey deserves everyone to buy him a beer. At least.
Yes, he did a good dead, and did the right thing, and should be proud. I just have a problem with anyone who refers to himself as a hero as he did in an interview.
I saw a few minutes of him on TV. I like him. He’s a real person.
My wife read somewhere that in 2011 some neighbor saw a naked woman crawling in the backyard of the home and called 911. No cops responded.
Another time someone called about the house and cops showed up and knocked on the door of the house. No answer, so the cops left. Although in that case, without evidence of someone in peril, I guess the cops couldn’t do anything else.
Although if I was the neighbor I would have been watching and recording things. (Mrs. Cravetz style) But I guess if I saw a naked lady in the backyard I’d call 911 as I was going to check it out more. (Hey - even if she ISN’T in distress....)
Disagree. He heard someone call for help, and he DID SOMETHING about it. Most folks would have pretended not to hear.
I am just posting it as it comes in. I know there is more to this. I figure there will be more arrests. Truth is I’d be surprised if there was not.
That be he.
His 911 call is awesome. About every 3rd word is bleeped out for TV.
And as Shakespeare offered in another context, no matter Charles Ramsay’s sins and derelictions, “this day shall gentle his condition.”
The next YouTube AutoTune sensation, no doubt.
Thanks, Morgana. I’ve been following on FOX. Sounds like another Jaycee Dugard case...imprisoned, raped, impregnated...but no one knows what happened to the other babies. (There is a six-year-old girl who was rescued, too.)
Everyone should each send Ramsey a $5 bill with a note that the sender is buying him a beer. I have to listen to that 9-11 call again and get his address. I like the idea. I think I will do it.
FOXnews.
I was thinking he bears more than a faint resemblance to Looter Guy.
LOL. Since the incident had a happy ending, that really makes the 911 call an instant classic, doesn’t it?
No... he didn’t refer to himself as a “hero.” THAT story had a misleading headline. Someone else said he was the definition of a “hero” and he said, “I’m the definition of a man...”
He wouldn’t accept the “hero” label. I saw the same story.
