This is a Call to Action for a Non-Hierarchical Occupation of Monsanto Everywhere
Whether you like it or not, chances are Monsanto contaminated the food you ate today with chemicals and unlabeled GMOs. Monsanto controls much of the world's food supply at the expense of food democracy worldwide.
This site is dedicated to empowering citizens of the world to take action against Monsanto & it's enablers like the FDA, USDA, EPA, GMA, BIO, and the processed food companies that use Monsanto's products.
We urge you to help organize and attend the closest March Against Monsanto taking place on Saturday, May 25, 2013!

Sniff, sniff.
Any chance of putting together a counter-protest of these crazies?
Where can we go to support Monsanto and counter these idiots. Should we send them a letter in support? Better life through chemicals. Just not the kind that the ickupiers use. Asshats. Maybe they should track the materials and processes used on some of the duds they’re wearing.
The main problem I have with Monsanto is how much in bed they are with the government and how they use that as a tool to keep upstart ag tech companies down....
” I’ll be in NJ and attending one. Wanted to let others know about this world wide event. “
No fan of Monsanto, but if this org wants to have broad based support, it must avoid the language and tropes of the left.
I don’t think it’s crazy to ask for food labeling to tell me what exactly is in the foods in grocery stores, especially packaged ones.
This is a world wide event, many countries have events going on same day.
Unless you like getting sick sumptoms from what you consume? I don’t, and I’ll be attending to support the need for protection that was just passed to protect monsanto to be re-addressed. Too many illnesses due to our food supply being tainted in many ways. If we don’t speak up, it will get worse.
the July 4 event by Mom’s Across America. check out the action page.

No, we should counter onsanto and the anti GMO fools at the same damned time.
Counter monsanto for being in bed with big government and counter the hippies for being dirty dumb hippies.
I don’t care that they took on the “occupy” term etc, the point is folks across the world are attending events on May 25 in protest to the chemicals monsanto is exposing us to if we buy foods not properly labeled to tell us of GMO or pesticides etc.
It has broad based support there are events in numerous countries listed and across the USA.
This isn’t just about GMO labeling, the Occupy Monsanto and Moms Across groups are anti-corporation who just look for any angle to get government to take over these businesses or close them. The anti-GMO hysterics are about as ridiculous as the anti-Vaccine hysterics (Moms Across also was into that).
Luddites under a different name.
If you scratch the surface of these groups, they are the same leftist groups that protest power plants, oil drilling, and any other industrial advancement in the past 50 years.
A five year old could educate himself enough to know what to look for (buy local, organic or grow it yourself if you don't want these). We don't need Big Brother holding our hands and our soup spoons.
Are you really going to be marching with these idiots to "occupy Monsanto?" Is that what you're admitting?
Chemicalphobes and Luddites unite! Join us and prove to the world that you never had to take a course in basic science.
Yeah, life was so much healthier when we were huddled around a bonfire wondering why no one lived to see 30.

What we really need is MORE choices when it comes to GMO foods, more upstarts making their own unique GMO products that can compete against each other in a marketplace that doesn’t have big government playing favorites (like monsanto) and that is open to labeling if something is GMO or not. (let the market decide).
Also some GMO that has issues is the stuff that contain pesticides and herbicides in the food. Even though the pesticides and herbicides are “naturally occuring” in other plants there is a reason we don’t just eat those other plants.
The stuff that is good is when they modify a food to contain more nutrients like the vitamin A enhanced rice.
The luddites are against it all, much like the anti tech luddites of the past who were against steam power, which could be dangerous, but also saved many lives and increased the quality of life.

Yeah, they would ratehr live a harsh caveman life till they die at 30 vs. living past 60 with a chance of cancer....
Dummies all of them....
What these people don’t realize or accept is that ‘Genetic Modification’ has been going on since man started farming. Pretty much everything on our food shelves or what we grow (even heirloom varieties) are the result of genetic modification such as cross breeding, splicing, etc.
The only difference now is that technology and science have made it possible to do this down to the DNA level in a single generation versus trial and error over many, many generations of the plant.
Bingo, you’re 100% on-target there. I’d be up for protesting them cause they’re the virtual Poster Child for Crony Capitalism.
Oh pullleeezzeee....
Not another movement organized by folks who couldn’t pass science 101.
Of course, do do have a president fitting that same description.

when I lived in NJ the local farmers sprayed nasty pesticides - it’s not so easy and no a 5 year old in todays grocery store would not make wise choices.
I understand what many of you say, but this in not just a USA thing with our knuckleheads in charge, this is people around the globe sick of the protection of corproations trying to poisin people and create more disease which gives them the idea we need their “sick care” obamacare crap.
If they would stop messing with our food and adding HFcorn syrup and GMO etc we would not have half the health issues or need for rediculous health insurance we pay. to keep my payment manageable I had to up my deductible from 1500 to 10k.
Saturday I was at an event to promote my work, and the displayer next to me was selling people more free health care from the govt.
Our food options are important so we don’t get sick and need health care.
May 25 is against big brother. so what if sponsors have left leanings. If you read the Momsacrossamerica petition its about boycotting stores carrying largely GMO foods.
Seems your only concerned with you on this issue. you know what to do, and maybe your family knows what to do - well what about helping others to know? an event world wide like this would likely make news? Maybe help wake up a few more people.
