The Weekly Gardening Thread is a weekly gathering of folks that love soil, seeds and plants of all kinds. From complete newbies that are looking to start that first potted plant, to gardeners with some acreage, to Master Gardener level and beyond, we would love to hear from you.
This thread is non-political, although you will find that most here are conservative folks. No matter what, you wont be flamed and the only dumb question is the one that isnt asked.
It is impossible to hijack the Weekly Gardening Thread ... there is no telling where it will go and that is part of the fun and interest. Jump in and join us!
Well, the little booger got into my beds again. This time, it dug up several of my spinach plants and some green pepper plants. I can’t set traps of any kind because of the cats, so I went to the local Dollar Store and bought 12-1 bushel size laundry baskets. I set them over the plants and put a rock on top to stabilize them. So far, so good. What-ever-it-is has avoided digging around the baskets.
Ahhhhhh the plot thickens! Thanks for the update!
Thanks, might have to get some.
Hope your solution continues to work.
Not sure how they would handle that much heat. University of Kentucky has a lot of pawpaw info online I suggest you check there. There is also a private group in Ohio.
