Naw, just think, ‘What do you do with someone’s heart after you rip it from their body while still beating?’ MAke a little icon of it of course, then toss it in the ‘latrine’/tunnel while the folks aren’t looking.

Reminds me of the story where the guy inherited a house and the basement was full of round metal balls the size of tennis balls. He had no idea what they for, but figured they should be good for and thought and thought. Still no ideas.

So he decided to bring three of them to the mine where he worked and leave them in the lunch room to see if anyone did anything creative and he might get an idea.

The first day he left them on the tables where the engineers sat, figuring they would be the brightest and most ingenious; but they just rolled them around or bonked them together a bit while they talked.

The second day he left them where the mechanics sat, but pretty much the same thing except more horseplay and anatomical jokes.

The third day he left them where the miners sat. By the end of lunch they had broken one, lost one, and someone stole the third one.

...“We can not yet establish its role because it is an unprecedented discovery. They should have a sphere, ranging from 4 to 12 inches and have a core of clay with organic matter, then covered them with pyrite, a mineral that underwent a process of oxidation and became jarosite, hence have a tone yellow,” archaeologist Jorge Zavala said, according to the National Institute of Archaeology and History...

MOQUI BALLS!

The round rocks are found in southern Utah in Zion and Capitol Reef national parks, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Snow Canyon State Park and the Moab area. Their diameters range from one-25th of an inch to 8 inches or more. They are known to New Agers as “moqui marbles.” Some are the size of small blueberries like those on Mars. Chan and her colleagues believe the Utah concretions formed perhaps 25 million years ago when minerals precipitated from groundwater flowing through much older Navajo sandstone, the spectacular red rock in southern Utah.

Indeed. Not a one of the hosts on C2C will have a clue how to make this an interesting story. It’s a shame.

Is there a Paypal link at the article? They must need funding and the headline does the trick.
