I’m not a singer. And I have trouble making what people today call songs.

But if you can hear the music it would need to be set to, maybe you should try it for yourself. I’d be interested to hear it.

It’s a bit long to be a song. You’d need a good memory, or maybe a way to read it.

That’s it! You, me, and 0’bam’s ‘Prompter, going on the road!

(Hey, CG! Grab your guitar and our blues music! I smell road trip!)

"It would make a terrific Christmas Song!"

I just read it again, and it brought tears to my eyes.

The advantage of a Christmas Song, is that it gets played year after year. It never goes out of style.

Love the picture, Gail.

I know what you mean about a puppy loving paper and shoes. My little pup is almost a year old now, and she is finally getting out of ‘love’ with those two things. (I just have to make sure she can’t reach her favorite - the TP!)

Remember when Dylan wrote songs that were OVER the 3 minute limit?

They took up BOTH sides of a 45!

" had to get new links for the pictures."

Oh, Meg! I know how much time something like that takes, and I APPRECIATE your dedication to sharing a CUTER than CUTE compilation of who our furry friends really are!

I wonder what the yorkie would say? Probably something like, "Mom - I would love to do it, but can't the CAT do it for us all?!"

Thank you Meggers!! (We are discussing Megs great post #156!)

Hi, Luvie! Today some friends took me for a wonderful lunch (Chicken Picatta, and Italian salad with ham, salami and pepperoini, cheese, mixed greens and croutons, with a lovely dressing of balsamic vinegar, walnuts and olive oil.)

After lunch, I came home to let the little ‘popcorn’ out to potty, and then took off again for a play that was wonderful! It was so funny, my cheeks still hurt from smiling and laughing for two hours.!

It was “Assisted Living”; and they had only four performances here, and all four were sold out!

Tulip Day

May 13, 2013

Several countries around the world celebrate Tulip Day to welcome the spring. When I think of tulips, I often think of the Netherlands, but commercial cultivation of the flower began in the Middle East. Today these colorful flowers span the globe. An estimated 109 species of tulips now grace parks, thoroughfares, and home gardens all around the world.

Last fall I planted some tulip bulbs. Several months later, they bloomed with vivid colors, announcing the coming of spring. They reminded me that summer was on the way and with it will come even more flowers to delight the eye.

Flowers are wonderful reminders to me of the grace of God in our lives. Our Lord used lilies of the field to remind us of the provision of our heavenly Father. In His great Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “Consider the lilies of the field . . . ; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. . . . Will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?” (Matt. 6:28-30).

Tulips alert us to the end of winter and the beginning of spring. But like the lilies of the field, they can also remind us of the One upon whom we can depend to provide food, clothing, and shelter.

In trees and flowers of the field,
In creatures large and small,
We trace the watchful care of Him
Who planned and made them all. —King
If Jesus is concerned about flowers and birds, He certainly cares about you and me.

Read: Matthew 6:25-34

Consider the lilies of the field . . . ; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. —Matthew 6:28-29
