This was the one team that was reportedly in love with Te'o. They had three chances to pick him, and they passed. This says less about Te'o and more about the (low) quality of the "reporters".

“reportedly in love with Te’o”
That always seems to go badly with this guy.

If Al Davis was still alive he never would have made it past the third pick.

Hard to feel sorry for the guy. He’s either a liar or a complete idiot.

Obuma can sign an executive order and give him to the Vikings.

The Vikings love Notre Dame guys, and have 5 already. But WHEN you’re drafted just small piece of process. Manti will be fine

The media overhyped a mediocre player...when will they start claiming racism?Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!
An over-hyped player on a much over-hyped team!
A #1 team goes into a national championship game as a double digit underdog?!?!
Tells you all you need to know about the sports media.

He was talking with the Chiefs for several weeks leading up to the draft...they assured him that he would be the #1 pick overall.
Yesterday it was discovered that it wasn’t the Chiefs he had been talking to.

If the Vikings are the only team interested in him then why would they waste their first round pick(s) on the guy? I wasn’t at all surprised he didn’t go in the first round. If the Vikings want him they will more than likely get him, at a discounted rate too.

Why burn a firs round pick on Te’o. I don’t believe that there is much interest by other teams, so leave him out there and pick him up in the late second or even the third round. He is nowhere near the talent that he was hyped to be. He was made to look like an idiot by a quality team in the NC game. There is not a lot of upside with this knucklehead!

So glad he didn’t get the Heisman! I can’t believe he was really in the running. Others should have been in the finals.

Manti Te'o Falls Out Of The First Round Of The NFL Draft This isn't true. The Patriots took him with their imaginary pick.

I try to avoid sports radio but every so often will tune into it and when I do it is a rare exception. yesterday, on ESPN radio, I heard a squeamish host say âMaybe I am naive .... but.... â He then asked a co-host/guest whether Geno Smith was the victim of racism. Poor guy, I hope he overcomes the injustice.
