Reese Witherspoon pulled her celebrity card out while her husband was getting arrested for DUI, telling the officer who ended up busted her, "You're about to find out who I am."
((snip))
"Do you know my name?" The officer answered by saying, "No, I don't need to know your name."
Witherspoon then came back with, "You're about to find out who I am ... You are going to be on national news."

Just posted this on the locked thread. Sorry if already posted. Arrest report:

Her statement takes responsibility for nothing. The report does not describe the behavior of someone having just one drink too many. Sounds as if she might have had an alcohol level as high as her husband’s.
Elistis.
Yes, she admitted it. She was ‘very ashamed.’
“...I’m married to Johnny Cash! No, wait....”
Completely off topic, but that Santa in the background is one we had around our house for years. Brings back memories of childhood.
Why was Reese filming in GA? Tax breaks. Big tax breaks for filming in Ga. Plus Ga is a right-to-work state, so less hassles with unions. I see alot of movie filming going on in intown Atlanta. Last week I drove by Peachtree Baptist Church where Reese’s movie was being filmed.
Hollywood liberals are such hypocrites looking for tax breaks. The film industry in CA must be bleeding jobs.

I read a later article quoting her as admitting she'd been drunk and apologizing for the tirade. She owned up for it -- a rarity among celebs.
Glad to hear that, thanks!
Add my kudos for her immediate public apology.
What is most amazing about this is how refreshing (and rare) it is for someone in her position to actually admit error.
Reminds me of the airline joke where the punchline is "This gentlemen has forgotten his name, can anyone help?"
As opposed ot kudos for not acting like an ass in the first place? I guessing the "apology" was done to minimize the damage rather than any sincere regret.
My favorite reply is “Why, don’t you know who you are?”
Cops HATE that “do you know who I am” stuff. If you have to ask, they don’t.
She was probably drunk too. He didn’t need to arrest her though.
Yep. Should have kept her mouth shut; probably wouldn’t have gotten cuffed.
Shows you what’s bubbling under the surface of these pampered “stars”. No wonder so many of them are raging liberals; they think they are better than everyone else.
Do you know who I am?
No, do you have amnesia? Do we need to call an ambulance?.......
But how often do these hollyweird bozos pull the “don't you know who i am?” BS and then stick to it and double down on it and actually try to carry out their threats?
At least she apologized. What's amazing about this is how rare and refreshing that is.
I dont know that I ever knew the color of her true hair. Dont know that we even know from the current pics. She has played a blonde (Legally Blonde), and a black-haired part (June Carter). And others of many hues. Not sure that she knows by now.
Has she called Obama yet?
