The Union Pacific railroad engineer brought his train to a screeching halt as the locomotive came roaring toward the 10-month old terrier mix Banjo. Authorities tracked down the 78-year-old owner who told agents his family 'didn't want the dog' and he 'didn't know what to do with him.'

DBanjo unchained?
Ditto. Some days; I marvel at the fact that G-d Almighty hasn't pulled the plug on this country yet...
So glad the pup was rescued...so sad that his owner decided to kill him instead of offer him to a new owner.
Killing unborn babies, helping elderly to commit suicide, applauding unhealthy sexual lifestyles as “normal,” redefining marriage to meet modern convenience, worshipping false gods, and the lack of morals, humanity, obedience to God: we are just like folks were in the days of Noah. God already sent us a Savior so those who have ears to hear and eyes to see if they have a willing heart will hear/see and obey. Others will continue to be deaf, blind and dumb/numb to His call. There is a lot of work for us Christians to do to work against these evils until Jesus comes again...
After reading that nonsense I was waiting on “the engineer was able to swerve just before hitting the pup”.
Where do they get these kind of dumb asses and do they even know just how dumb they sound when they write this kind of crap.

I remember someone posting this to another thread some time ago:
Those who can, do.
Those who can’t, teach.
Those who can’t teach, become journalists.
The lord works in mysterious ways. In this case, using man’s best friend, he has revealed a demon that walks among us. The train engineer was weighed and measured and found not wanting. what happens to the demon is now up to the California judicial system.
Not only that but there are trains scheduled behind that train. An unexpected stop backs those up. But to tie that dog to the tracks because he didn’t know what to do with it????? Has to be a PETA member.
False dichotomy. It is possible to care about both dogs and unborn children at the same time.
How about the Obama death panel for the old man?
He may already have...
Stories like this make me lose faith in humanity.
I have two rescue dogs that I hug every morning before I leave for work. One was found in a gutter, the other was given to me because he was unwanted.
Those who do this kind of thing are feeling and uncaring. They would do the same to a human, I think.
Banjo is assured of adoption. For thousands of shelter animals the outlook is not so bright. If you can, visit a shelter, save a life and leave with your new best friend.
Spokesman John Welsh said he would not face animal cruelty charges as he appeared to be "confused or senile and didn't fully understand what he had done."
Wonder how many “Creative Writing” classes this moron has been in.
I guess no one ever told him creative writing is only useful in reporting when it’s believable.
He may already have has...
He has certainly lifted the plug enough so that much of the country is swirling down the drain...hard to keep my balance anymore. :-)
It has been my experience that most dogs are better people than people are.
At the very least, dogs are more trustworthy.
