I bet he’s afraid of toilet paper too.
Former cop?
The good news is that Detroit just found a new cop.
It wasn’t on a leash? Oh, well...
I had a friend with one of those yapping beasts. The little pos would try and bite me and one day he got me in the calf. I bounced it off the wall with my other foot. She wasn’t worth being around the damn dog.
I carry when I run/walk in my neighborhood. I won’t arbitrarily shoot a dog 9I love animals), but I won’t let one chew on me either. A big one that is menacing (I know the difference between ready to bite and just making noise - most of the time) won’t be allowed within 10 feet or so if I thinks it’s coming for me. A little one would more likely get a kick first and then be taken out if it kept coming back. If a person cannot control their animal so others don’t have to be concerned, the person doesn’t need that animal and should find it a better home/environment.
Personally I feel sorry for the girl. I think this dude far overreacted. I could make a comment about the cops thinking he acted reasonably, but I’ll refrain.
Two guys were walking their dogs. One had a German shepherd and the other had a Chihuahua. The man with the shepherd suggested they should go into a bar for a drink. The other man says, Theyre not going to let dogs into the bar. And the first guy says, No? Watch this. He puts on some dark glasses, acts like the German shepherd is a Seeing Eye dog, walks into the bar, and orders a drink. And no one says anything.
So the second guy takes out some dark glasses, slips them on, and walks His Chihuahua into the bar. The bartender says, Sorry, we dont allow dogs in here. The man says, Its okay , its my Seeing Eye dog. The bartender laughs and says, This Chihuaha is your Seeing Eye dog? And the guy says, They gave me a Chihuahua?
He doesn’t get a pass on this one. It is a very realistic case of, “He could have walked away”, but instead, he recovered a gun, then went hunting.
It’s sort of vague when they wrote “he grabbed a pistol from his property”, that could mean anything from taking it out of a briefcase, to going back inside to get it.
But legally, unless he could recover the gun faster than he could have just walked away, he is in the wrong. It implies a choice to kill the dog, not that he was threatened by it.
That bastard should be lynched!!
The teen failed to control her dog, so someone else controlled it for her.
That is all.
Teacup poodle to mastiff, a barking dog that shows it's teeth within 10 feet of me or my wife is going to wind up dead.
For whatever reason dog's love me. But the closest I ever came to be bitten was by a snarling, nasty, chihuahua.
Are there any sane people left in Detroit?
First mistake the reporter made was in referring to this piece of human waste as a man!
I once thought I would have to shoot a dog to defend myself and it scared the hell out of me. First, i was worried about missing the dog and where the bullet would go, and secondly I have a dog of my own and wouldn’t want anything to happen to him. Anyone who shoots an aggressive chihuahua instead of giving it a swift boot is just looking to kill an animal. I bet he is the same type of guy that swerves toward cats in the road.
