We won’t be seeing the Spiderwort till June in a good year. At the rate we’re going now its gonna be august.
Beautiful....I need to get on the bike and ride west about 10 miles. (Loxahatchee Everglades Reserve)
Always love your photos....just beautiful photography!
Thanks for the ping. Those are gorgeous photos, especially the cormorants.
love your photos.
Beautiful pictures! It’s quite mild here in Ocala today. Time to crank up the lawn mower (sigh).
Great photos as always, S!
Lovely! SO nice to have you back behind your lens!
Those baby pond paddlers are pretty big!
AHHH Good ole late March/early April — the time when EVERY car in Alabama is Yellow. Along with roofs, lawns, yard furniture, sidewalks, driveways, etc. etc. etc.
You take great pictures!
Beautiful pics. Keep’m coming.
I went to the nearby lake today to do some walking. My 2 boys are coming into town in a few weeks and we’re gonna do some major birding. Need to get in shape :)
Anyway the Canada geese, among other birds, are nesting.
Watched one pair of geese run off 2 Great Blue Herons that were getting ready to pitch in to that end of the lake. They were out for blood, wow!
Intentionally left the camera home so I’d get a walking workout.
A treat for the eyes..lovely, SWAMPSNIPER.
Good stuff, Swampster! :)
Spring is on its way here in eastern Tennessee also. Mowed the lawn for the second time today. Trees are budding, and a few leaves are out on lower shrubs. The Bradford Pear trees are all blooming too!
Beautiful pictures, Swampy! I love the spiderwort... the name doesn’t fit the beauty of the flower IMHO. Thank you for this wonderful gift!
I hate you.
:-)
I remember once when I was watching some ducklings and goslings on a water way in Lewiston Idaho. The ducklings gave meaning to having your ducks in a row. They were paddling along in a row. If one deviated in the least, mama duck was there to peck them soundly on the head,
Watching the goslings, they could wander around, stop to swim in circles, and in general paddle around rather freely. The mother goose and ??? there were two geese more or less with the goslings, anyway the mom would look around or no, but keep going. The gosling would come back to the group before long and life went on.
Thanks so much for the beauty of your pictures.
Nice work, particularly that last one.
Nice to see you “swampy”, hope you are well!
