I have one of his weight benches.
R.I.P.
What do you use it for today ?
When he took his last breath, Joe still complained about people stealing his weight benches. I hope you’re happy. :)
In Jr. High my friends I go into weightlifting (OK, it didn’t last very long).
But we WORSHIPED Joe Weider. We bought all his products (that we could afford, anyway). He was our model.
One of my first jobs was working for his company. The place was a mess. They held their breath each week wondering if they would be able to pay their workers.
only lived 3 less years of age than legendary health nut Jack LaLanne.
Wow, one of the giants of the fitness industry. May have seemed P.T. Barnum at times, but he was legit.

Cool Im in a lot of house in the service bidness and most exercise eq is never used just last week a treadmill had hangers on it and a somewhat over flowing cat box on the tread
Wasn’t he gay?
And George Burns outlived both of them.
You’ll have to ask his wife, Betty.
He’s survived by his wife, Betty.
Maybe you should ask her.
His wife probably knows. I believe it is well known in the circles that he was pretty homosexual, even if he also had a wife. Not that there is anyone wrong with that - Seinfeld. RIP.
I don’t know.
He also got this young man started, the one with the "deer caught in the headlights" look.
RIP.
I thought the founder of modern body building was Eugen Sandow?

Yeah, he got Ahnold some of his early “jobs.” They called it “posing” for rich gay guys, but there was a lot more than posing going on. The gays ones probably enjoyed being kept boys and the straight ones like the Governator did it for the cash.
Having a wife doesn’t stop you from being homosexual. Ask Rev. wright and his DL club. Ask the CiC.
