Erica Moore of Forest Hill says she was laying in bed one night when she decided to walk-around her house to check on her kids. She found the door to her 15-year-old son’s bedroom shut. When she opened it, she got quite a surprise to see her son wasn’t alone — her teenage male cousin was in the room with him.
“My cousin at the time he was 18. My son he was 15 and I had walked in the room on [my cousin] giving oral sex to my son and I started whooping my son, and I’m the one who got in trouble as a result of me whooping him,” she said. “When I walked in I saw my son, it was just disgusting to me, the way he was looking and my cousin was looking, and my cousin immediately ran out the door. And I’m just like what the?!? You know, is you serious? So that was my reaction because it disgusted me.”
Moore admits that she struck her son with an electrical cord because it’s a form of discipline she was taught, and because she doesn’t believe in homosexuality.
“The police department told me that it was consensual, but they was committing a homosexual act in my house and we are totally against that. So I whooped my son and about three or four months later they came and arrested me for abuse,” she recalled.

And yet. If this was a teacher giving oral sex to this 15 year old, everyone at FR would think it was a big joke and say tbe kid should be happy for getting some action. Where are the posts calling for pictures of the 18 year old to see how “ hot” he is before declaring him guilty?

The 18-year-old, (currently old enough to hold a rifle for his country), should have been arrested for stat rape and sodomy.
A time ago, when pussification was not even an idea, the mama’s boy’s friends, would have told the boy all about how they felt, in no uncertain terms or manners, and yes, the 18 y.o. would not have seen too many lights of day, or ‘just done gone skipped off the planet somewhere’.

She is within her rights to discipline her 15 year old but she has no right to do so in a way that is likely to cause injury.

Look at the language being used on this thread...'whip', 'beat'...was this an extension cord? She struck a fifteen year-old with an extension cord? Oh, my. I got my butt tanned with belts, extension cords, and whatever when I was a teen...I deserved it, and lived to tell about it. No wonder we have generations of feral children out of control in this country. Maybe Mom should have given him a 'time out'.
Her mistake was in not having the 18 year old arrested for child molestation. There is no “consensual” anything with statutory rape.
However, Texas is a little different:
“According to Texas law, anyone can legally have sex. However, if the younger person in the relationship is less than seventeen years old and the older person is more than three years older than the younger person, the older partner has committed an offense.”
Thus, the cousin, at 18 years, would likely get away with it. Thus, if she wanted to take out her hostilities, it should have been with the cousin. The 15 year old can be dealt with later.
In this case, probably her best bet would be to “out” the cousin as not just a homosexual, but as a predator. Since he had likely done this before with other underage boys, *that* might get him arrested. Otherwise, it would be fair warning to his peers that he was a pervert, and *they* might be less than sympathetic.
As far as the 15 year old goes, I would hunt up a stern, religious, reeducation camp, and put him in it as a charity case. Since he is a minor, and legally something of a chattel to his parent or parents, she could do this legally, and he could not get out until he had turned 18.

And the last qualifier would not stand up under Lawrence v. Texas.
