Are there any good tempered chihuahuas?
Yes, I have one girl, 10 years old. She’s so sweet and friendly but timid weighing in at under 5 lbs. She barks when someone is at the door but immediately becomes submissive when the visitor comes in (uniformed guests excluded). She doesn’t care too much for uniforms.
Great little doggie!!!

I am not fond of Chihuahuas. Our next-door neighbor had one that tried to bite me twice while she was holding it in her arms. She told me that it wasn’t the dog’s fault, it just got nervous around people. No thanks.

The Medio appears to be a happy, healthy dog. I’m no fan of Chihuahuas, but people have a right to own and love them. I would suggest to the owners of any dog(s) that they buy a lock for their gates. That would solve the problem.

You know, on fourth and long, you can punt a Chihuahua about 25 yards or so.
Along with pit bulls, the Chi dogs are probably the least connected to reality of all the dog breeds.

Are there any good tempered chihuahuas? Yes, but most of them are treated like puppies and indulged all their lives. They end up the spoiled brats of the dog world.

Well, I now have a long haired, long, lazy Dachshund. He only barks when the other dog barks. But, I know the snarly Dachshund.

Too bad....let me restate my original comment:
The dogs should be tested for rabies using the OLD procedure.

lolol but I wasn’t kidding! There really are feral Chihuahuas in western Arizona.....no joke! I almost ran over one on the hwy and thought it was a coyote cub until I saw thse hunting packs later on in the week.....BTW the dove hunting is superb, and back then there were generous limits for both daily bag and possession......ya just had to be aware og both the sidewinders and those dang dogs!

I suspect they’re all failed doberman mixes; attempts by the dobermans to breed as many doberman-dominant characteristics into the other breeds as possible.
It’s all a Vast Doberman Conspiracy.

You rarely hear of liberals owning Dobermanns.
Coincidence?
I think not.
