TUPELO, Miss., - A conservative Mississippi website is objecting to a Geico ad for depicting "bestiality" in the form of showing a pig on a date with a woman.
One Million Moms, a website run by conservative Christian group American Family Association, said the Geico ad shows Maxwell the Geico pig parked in a car with a woman and "the girl appears to be turned on by the pig."
"She hints that she wants to make out. She is disappointed when she learns the tow truck is on the way and they won't be able to 'pass the time,'" the website said.
One Million Moms said the commercial is offensive because it "plays with the idea of bestiality."
The website called upon those offended by the ad to "let Geico know their new ad is irresponsible."

My wife and I both thought the commercial was creepy. If they were going for an "all men are pigs" vibe; then maybe it had some merit. Even though the commercial creeped me out, I've never had a problem with Bugs Bunny dressing in drag to distract Elmer Fudd; so I guess I have a double standard on this issue.
Even though I frequently find the commercials for Geico and Progressive funny, the ads do nothing to get me to buy their insurance.

Look. If the woman were in a barnyard rolling around in the mud with a snorting pig, then allegations of "support" for bestiality might be in order.
But for Pete's sake, she's sitting in a car with a talking pig that drives. Save the outrage for when it will count.
We can be considerate, affectionate and loving pigs at times.

I agree with you. This incremental creap is everywhere. Let’s throw the PC crap right back at em, and expedite bringing the whole current system down to start over.
Comparing the AFA with racist Hate Groups like La Raza (The Race), NAACP, ACLU, is quite offensive.
There is something wrong w. a commercial showing a woman getting aroused by a pig.
These women probably have a very unhappy home life and need to find SOMETHING to be ‘outraged’ over and this is what they have found.
if they did they’re homework they would trace it all back to The Muppets.

So on a 1 to 10 scale of “offended” (with 10 being the Trojan Twister vibrator commercial that always seems to run between 8-10AM on Sunday mornings...)
