Napolitano: Watch for Obama to ban ammo by EO through EPA action

Judge Napolitano on Fox: Watch for Obama in his SOTU message tonight to indicate he "can't wait" for Congress to act and thus will use EOs to circumvent the law. He will likely order the EPA to tax ammunition to pay for "the environmental damage and clean-up." In general, he believes Obama will bury Congress in a siege of EOs, knowing that Congress will not stop him. Only Congress can levy taxes, so this sets-up a fight between Obama and the so far eunich House, a fight he wants.

It makes sese when you think of it.
First the Government buys up all the ammo , then they stop more from being produced.
Soon there will be a black market ammunition business rolling in.

I may be mistaken(don't tell my wife), but I do believe the USSC has determined that ammo is a integral component of a firearm and are covered under the 2nd Amendment

that is why all the different departments are putting out bis for millions of rounds of ammo....they will be on the books for existing contracts? Or is are they an attempt to suck up all the available inventory?

I don't see how this would pass constitutional muster any more than an Executive Order baning guns. Bullets are an essential component to guns and without them guns are little more than poor cudgels, so they should be protected by the 2nd amendment equally. Or to put it in perspective, it would be as if a president in the 1800’s tried to circumvent the constitutionally guaranteed freedom of the press by banning the printing press.

"Report: unnamed aides say re-election has changed President Obama"
Discussion concludes that Obama is going Full Stalin now that he doesn't have to fool any voters anymore. Standby for a deluge of unlawful executive orders allowing him to rule as a dictator. He knows the gutless House doesn't have the nerve to oppose him. We live in interesting times. To all us frogs, does the water seem to be getting a little warmer?
