Sarah Palin turns 49 years old today, still relatively young and poised for the third act of her public life, whatever she chooses for that to be. Act I: Ambitious young woman rises through the ranks in local Alaskan politics to become the state's youngest governor (and first female governor). Picked in 2008 as the unconvential running mate for Republican John McCain's presidential bid. Her presence on the ticket certainly didn't help McCain, but her image as a folksy soccer mom and an arch-conservative firebrand energizes her own base and she becomes a Tea Party icon. Act II: After McCain's loss in 2008, Palin returns to Alaska and to her job as governor, but her heart isn't in it. Having gotten a taste of the national stage, the idea of running the nation's most remote state no longer excites her. She resigns from that position before her term ends and announces that she has bigger fish to fry. She writes a couple of books, does a couple of reality TV shows, and makes vast sums of money for speeches and TV appearances promoting the Tea Party and conservative causes. She endorses candidates across the country but shows little interest in re-entering the world of politics herself. So now, on her 49th birthday, we await her third act. Will she be content to stay in her current lucrative role of trying to influence those who are actually in power? Or will she at some point - perhaps in 2016 - feel the itch to return to politics and chase after the power herself? The only thing that seems certain at this point is that she has no desire to leave the public eye.

Birthday Bump for Governor Palin.
It's become a widely-used abbreviation used by the hip-hop and rap "culture" to mean something that's very un-Christian. I don't even want to hint at what it means since it's crude and vulgar. If you're curious enough, just use a search engine using the phrase: "what does **** mean?".
And thanks to Servant of the Cross for having my back, from one prude to another. :-) By the way, the origin of that word, prude, nowadays used as a pejorative, is actually quite noble meaning "wise and prudent".
Thanks for the heads up. The last thing I want to do is offend Mrs. Palin by posting something crude in the comments in her Facebook page.

Sorry, but for an elected official to quit before finishing their term strikes me as sef-serving and selfish.
Much as we all oppose homosexuality and its agenda, the Communists have sought to weaken America by destroying the Biblical principles upon which our nation was built. We rightly attack the sin of sodomy here on Free Republic but, on occasion, give the smut merchants (one of whom includes the ultra-liberal Larry Flynt) a pass. Similarly vulgarity is sometimes cited as a manly virtue when it comes from "our side" yet California Governor Jerry Brown's recent use of the term "fart" is correctly diagnosed as an utterance from one with a filthy mouth and dirty (if feeble) mind.
Let we forget, the evil of making homosexuality mainstream was but one goal of the Communists:
18. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press. 19. Break down culture standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and T.V. 20. Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity, as "normal, natural, healthy." 28. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

In my opinion, these Biblical admonitions are no less serious than God's instructions about the abomination of homosexuality.

She would need to become more cultured and sophisticated, and that would probably mean losing at least some of that folksy charm that was so endearing to the Tea Party. I’m not sure many of us want that. I don’t mean that she needs to stop speaking simply and plainly, which is an asset that was highly valued by Midwestern presidents from Abraham Lincoln to Harry Truman.
Careful Bryan, don't jump too fast with your bitch queen Hillary's narrative. Funny how you're not worried about Couric asking Hillary about Benghazi, or how her "Arab Spring" has turned the entire ME into a Muslim inferno, or how Bammy's ROEs are slaughtering US troops wholesale. Yeah, huge foreign affairs expertise there. Not to mention how you infer Couric tripped up Sarah, when it never even happened at all, and was just media spin about media spin that ignored the full responses from Palin that Katie Colon left on the cutting room floor.

FYI, Palin is going destroy Hillary politically once and for all, and all of you crawling communist worms shiver with your queen's own fear of the coming election tsunami. Hillary doesn't have enough OES witch-zombies for this one, and there isn't enough rabid hatred in all of them put together to stand up against the righteous rage over the rape of the Constitution these bastards have - and are - committing.
