No halftime show at Super Bowl 2014? Thats the word, according to planners who say the weather may prevent appearances at matchup XLVIII, set for New Jersey.
Its because of the cold weather, said one involved with next years Super Bowl planning, in a New York Post report. Its not only the acts and the singers, but also the crews that have to put the stage together.
You just cant assemble the stage and break it down fast enough in the cold.

I suspect they wouldn't let me do that nowadays!
I was supposed to perform at half time in the freezing cold here.
I had the wardrobe malfunction all planned.
These babes are ready to shake their booty!
tell the stupids that the reason that marching bands performed so well at half time is that the marched and stayed warm, did not need a stage or giant sounds system, and they were entertaining, modest and talented.
Bring back the marching bands. I miss Sousa!
Finally! Best news I’ve had since...wait, I’m thinking...no, I’ll come to it...please be patient, the last five years have really, really sucked....Ah, ya got me! Best news in a decade!
Woo-hoo!
I have a vague recollection of watching what I think was a championship game in the mid-60s at Lambert Field with snow flying, you could barely see the ground. I know it was over at least by New Years for the Giants then, too, because I recall my younger and charmingly ditzy sister going to a New Year’s party and upon her return noting that a “football guy, Whitey Piddle” was there. It was Y.A. Tittle.
What next?
Someone to sing the National Anthem without "personalizing" it?
They can just show video of Rex Ryan’s wife doing the Jets o-line, that would be one way to get the Jets to the SB.
