Never mind looking for a good man, says the author of a hot, new book being released this week good women are the ones who are hard to find.

I had a similar experience with some Georgia Peaches I met. Sweetest things, and learned about how some druthers was mighty fine leanin's at times.
Some of us can't help it. Spend most of your time in front of a Monitor screen and it's a given.
Hmmm. Well at least it wasn't wearing a dress that time...
I dunno, mate. I think she’s too short to be an elf as well. Maybe that’s not her pic! *grin*
yeah, thats the ship Im sailing too. Soul crushing.
I once lived where you do now.
Married my high school sweetheart at 21 and divorced her at 26 (good riddance). Spent the next 15 years mostly alone, while going from one disappointing (and brief) relationship to another.
No sooner had I given up in my mind and spirit, than my future (and current) bride walked into my life out of the blue. I was 41 at the time. We married less than a year later, and now have four great kids. That was eighteen years ago.
Keep the faith. If it happened for me, it can surely happen for you.
In the past several months I’ve been receiving daily e-mails from some dating site that I never signed up for, and was possibly signed up (I suspect) as a joke by a friend, or as punishment or favor by an enemy like a former ex. The e-mail has each day 8 photos of women, most of them far from my zip code, which tells me they got my location wrong, which is good, and when I click on one of the pictures, a pop-up pops up asking me to submit personal information, and won’t let me go any further, which is even better, indicating that they don’t know squat about me except my e-mail address and possibly age group, which is bad. It’s not any of the better known dating sites, a service I had never heard of, and what’s interesting is that many of the middle aged women presented have photographs from their teenage or twenage years there. I am mildly amused, that is all, and for now am not asking to be removed from their mailing list, as that would be acknowledging receipt, an old rule about handling spam.
I used to be that surly teenager 40 years ago. I ran off a lot of creeps that my dear mom didn't have the street smarts to see through.
When she finally brought home a decent bloke, I did my level best to sell him on our family, but unfortunately, he was a whole lot smarter than I was.
Red Hair and Freckles page. Count the pictures. I'm #18. (Boy! THAT was a long time ago!)
Yeh, well, sometimes it’s just the whole package thing that makes it not work out sometimes. Most of the girls I’ve known, been pretty nice each in their own way, but throw in the uncontrolled little monsters raising an unholy ruckus every dang hour and there was just no way. One or two, kids was OK but mom turned out to be a sportsfreak or dishthrower and then definitely no bloody way. One, at least, I just loved those kids, and surely miss them to this day, but never ever going to get intimate with their mom so she just disappeared after awhile. Just never know.
Better than pictures by a factor of 1000:1 is Skype. Pictures can be old, doctored, photo shopped. On Skype you see the real person.
I sure agree. If the NFL was embarrassed by the Timberlake/Jackson debacle, then what about last night? It was even more sleazy.
Oh, I see, so there are good women, they just can’t seem to find them?! Odd, I have friends who are all aflutter with the speed dating gimmick, and the telling part is that for the women to sign up/enroll for the event, there are no open spots. For the men to sign up, they are begging to find men to come to these. So there are 50 women looking to attend, and a scant 10 men?
There are many ways to meet people, I doubt that is the issue. It’s having the good sense to know when you’ve met someone who you can build something with.
For what it’s worth, I think women have made an absolute mess of things for themselves. It’s embarrassing.
