As for me, I'm leaving because I am a
Perfect Conservative™ and risk my Perfection merely by being on the internet, let alone hanging around with you riff-raff who can vary by as much as a fraction of a degree in your convictions as compared to mine.
Such filth upon my Purity can no longer be condoned. I must retire from this site, and the internet as a whole, to write a manifesto of Pure Conservatism™ and to formulate a completely pointless political party to run someone so Pure for President that even I am unworthy to vote for him.

What I have to say here is the product of much soul-searching
and introspection and isn’t a decision I have have come to lightly.
The time has come for Free Republic and humblegunner to part ways.
Too often have folks here misunderstood my kind offers of help in
