You are correct, and will be so for about another 10 years. Then an awful realization will set in.
You see right now, government is conducting what footballers would say is a “perfectly executed mis-direction play.” Almost every day there is another story about the coming disaster in Medicare and Social Security due to baby boomers. And for the next decade or so that will be true.
But as the boomers start to die out, not only will the problem not get better, it will in fact get worse. Because the real cancer has been growing out of sight and unmolested. And by the time people figure it out, it will be too late.

If you Decrease poverty, you increase expansion and limit over crowding. Maybe our government should match industry funds for expansion into, let’s say the woods of Nebraska, instead of building fancy bridges and on/off ramps. No, that will never occur, because then their central power and influence over the electorate will be dispersed and challenged. New York and California would cease in their ability to make decision and force legislation upon the rest of America.

She home schools all her kids and they are all a grade level or more ahead of where their peers of the same age are studying.
She is still in her early 30s and it isn't hard to imagine her having another six. More power to her and her husband! They've got a great little family and any one of the kids is worth more than a dozen Paul Ehrlichs.

I think “bastard” children (YES, that’s what a fatherless child used to be called) should NOT receive public funding. Until that happens the Government uses babies as the action for which these “women” get a COMMISSION. How to stop this is the question? Me thinks when the money runs out...may be the ONLY answer....which means there will be a LOT of VERY hungry and angry ones roaming the streets.

Western culture is doing a very good job of not overpopulating, or a very poor job of reproducing itself, depending on your point of view.
My four children do not begin to make up for my cousins and classmates who had no children. Nonetheless, they will grown up in a country far more crowded then their father and I did.
Then why did females “evolve” with about 400,000 eggs, and males with continuously produced gillions of sperm?
I assume that’s “millions” not “gallons”...LOL
And the resulting global war from him trying force his views on others will work towards his goal. Of course, the opposition will have replacements.

This goes to show you the way the leftist mind ticks. No matter how many of their ideas are proven to be wrong, they still believe in them. Very little can actually change their mind. For the liberal, political ideas are a religion. Their policy positions are an article of faith. Once a person is a committed leftist, they are basically ruined (politically) for life. A generation of liberals generally has to die out before things can change in the areas they infect.
