Idol's laying it on thick tonight. They usually hold back the homecoming footage until the results show, so "as not to influence the voting".

They're showing Candice's homecoming now--not just a teaser clip, but the whole thing. South Carolina. Police escorts, family reunion (she has six younger siblings). Visting where she used to work (traveling agency) She answers the phone while the crowd outside has their noses pressed to the window. "Hello, this is Candice." Sings for a larger crowd somewhere else. It's a huge gathering, but not the sea of people that we've seen in past seasons.
Round 2 is Judge's Choice. They chose “Next To Me” by Emile Sandé for Candice. Excellent.
Mariah: I feel like I went home with you. Brought me to tears. I felt like you got re-energized. Keep that with you, no matter what happens. I can see only good things happening in your future.
Keith: The song was like a conversation, so perfect. You're getting more and more confident. You just sing where you want to sing.
