First round is songs chosen by Jimmy Iovine.
For Kree, Iovine chose Pink's "[bleepin] Perfect". Kree omits the bleeped word. Never heard this song before. Kind of stale. Kree sounds like she straining in some parts. This is an odd choice, and Iovine (or the producers) didn't want to pick the best song for her.
Keith: How did you feel about that song choice, Kree? (she says she liked it, sang it for her niece) That song choice to me proves, to my ear, you're a Country girl. Strong signature sound.
Minaj: Hello, Kreedom. How are you? Voice is filled with quality. Song felt short to me (it was) You didn't seem as nervous this week. (recommends that she wear flat boots so she could move around more)
Randy: I didn't love that song so much for you. Kinda settled in. You can sing anything anytime. But that laid a little flat for me. But just a little flat for me, if I'm being honest.
Mariah: Interesting song choice by Jimmy. I really like the message coming from you. Later on tonight you want to hear you give it your all tonight. Please do because I know everyone wants to hear every bit of Kree.

Yeah... and she went to a note a minute ago that wasn’t lined up with the chord the bgvs were singing. First time I’ve ever heard her get pitchy... and she had a few of those moments.
I know what you mean—it is absolutely INFURIATING! And just when I think I cannot loathe the media more, I hear them whining about the hearings and the reporting by ACTUAL JOURNALISTS (hear that NYT, ABCNBCCNNMSNBCCBS—dissing your OWN Sharyl Atkisson??), and I want to spit nails.
I hope these media organizations experience their own Benghazi. Just die already. Because, “What difference does it make??” Grrrrrrrr.
Oh, and the grandstanding cowards called dems, preening and smirking, is just the icing on this fricking cake.
