Came in to Angie’s Someone to Watch Over Me and loved it...could the judges make an effort and get up just once? Then the Amber standing o, fawning and little crying spell made me change the channel. Loved Harry’s mentoring to Kree—why didn’t she follow his advice? This show is a mess!
This show is crazy. Making them sing “standards” with only 4 left was a stupid idea to begin with. They should be singing songs they plan on singing after american idol.
Last song. "Stormy Weather". Depressing song, but Kree makes it enjoyable. She's beautiful in black.
Mariah: I was interested by the choice. (I can't tell if she liked it or not--reaching for my Louis L'Amour) Clear as a bell and beautiful.

Urban lets him have his chair. He'd be a good replacement for any of the current judges.
HCJ: She has to learn the melodies first. Learn the song first. Then be Kree. [Randy interrupts, says something about Kree being Kree] Yeah, we want you to be Kree, but choose the Etta James version (sarcasm and laughter)

The show has been just “Meh” for me tonight. I am also not in the best mood right now, so I am probably not in the frame of mind to watch this. Oh well....
A few seasons ago HCJ was a guest mentor, back when the show used to be more fun by having guest mentors every week. He was great then, and it sounds like he's still great.
Last year, before the decision on who the new judges would be wasn't a done deal, HCJ's name was mentioned in several leaked reports as one who was being considered.
Given that the rumor is strong that at least 2 of the current judges, maybe more, won't be back next season, combined with the very odd fact that HCJ has been the only guest mentor this season, I think we're seeing him get a trial run at the judge position for next season.
Reading that Keith Urban lead him up to the judge's panel to critique Kree kind of cinches it for me.
It’s so obvious who they want to win there’s no need to tune in.
