As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
Shamar, Brandon, Phillip ... in that order. Please let tonight be the night to start the exodus of these three.
It appears that Shamar has his little Harem protecting him and the Fans are now Hope-less.
One would have thought that Michael and Matt would be smart enough to recognize the position they were in between the Harem 4 and the Hopeful 3 and even the sides out — but they were too stupid.
If they want to keep Shamar for challenges, then atleast take out one of the weak links — Julia or Laura — so that the Shaharem 4 doesn’t get the numerical advantage.
Thanks for keeping the Survivor threads going.
I had high hopes of never seeing ShamLazy gone but the more the editing played it up, the more he wasn’t going anywhere. The whole time Sherri was talking votes, you could tell he was zoning her out and then had to ask which way he was supposed to vote, sigh.
Being in NC means B Ball comes first. The local station bumped Survivor again.
Watching it on line.
I noticed the voting from Sherri’s side was 3 Hope and 3 Eddie — all in fear that Reynold might just give his idol to Hope and Shamar get voted out by default. This was a concerted effort by the 6 to protect Shamar.
Why??? Are Michael and Matt now on board with Sherri??? It looks like it. Can they count??? Maybe not.
Has the word gone out on the island that Shamar is an untouchable??? Does he have CBS protection??? Is he good for ratings??? Are they given voting instructions based on ratings???
Get used to seeing Shamar’s face for some time. It looks like Sherri is in control of her tribe. Shamar is her enforcer. Michael and Matt are too intimidated to go against them.
Next week they have to start cannibalizing their stronger players [the men] to keep the ShaHarem together. It all goes downhill from there.
All I can say at this point is: GO FAVS!!!.
Combined Reward and Immunity challenge winner: Bikal
Bikal Tribe (favorites - purple buffs): Andrea, Brandon, Brenda, Cochran, Corinne, Dawn, Erik, Malcolm, Phillip
Gota Tribe (fans - orange buffs): Eddie, Julia, Laura, Matt, Michael, Reynold, Shamar, Sherri
Eliminated: Allie, Francesca, Hope
Immunity Idol status - Bikal: No one has found a clue or an idol.
Immunity Idol status - Gota: Reynold found an idol and showed it to everyone on his tribe.

Shamar’s water talk with Hope was so 3rd grader-ish.
“Na Na, I know something you don’t know” kinda’ stuff.
If she had taken the hint - yes, she would still be there - but it would have weakened the tribe - which was not the goal of everybody else in his alliance.
Finally got caught up on Survivor.
Thank you for keeping up the ping list. I’m sure you meant to put it in, but Malcolm found the hidden idol, and Corinne knows about it on the favorites tribe.
I’m really curious, though, as to why the clues to the hidden immunity idols haven’t shown up, and what ever happened to hiding the first one right in camp? Could it be that a later hidden immunity idol was found, and the first one is still in camp?
As for the competition, I was really kind of hoping for a favorites loss this week, and the fans really had me on the edge of my seat, but alas they folded. I do not get why they didn’t just get rid of the idol holder when he didn’t play it - his possession of it is causing all sorts of twists and complications, better to take it out (and admittedly weaken the tribe) then continue twisting and turning to accommodate it.
Disappointed that there’s still the combined immunity/reward challenges. I really like the two challenge format to the show. I know it’s harder to edit, and I’d see even less of camp life, but really, I think we all could do with a little less camp life. Plus they seem to wear down the contestants faster, rather than a three day break before the next challenge.
All in all, most of the favorites tribe I was done with the first time they were on the show, most of the fans are..meh. If I was forced to pick someone as my favorite to get to the end, it’s probably Cochran. Least I actually enjoy his asides.
I will be traveling over the next few days. I don't know how well the Internet will be working in certain areas. It's possible that I could miss either one, or both, of the next two episodes.
However, all the information you need is available on the links I've listed in previous posts.
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
Safe travels to you!
Well the worm sure turned tonite for the Fans. Sherri lost her enforcer Shamar and then was compelled to vote out one of her alliance of women leaving her now vulnerable to an early departure. What a shame.
Glad to see that smirk wiped off that little imp Laura’s face as her entire alliance voted against her, and Sheri finding out that she is not the boss anymore.
As it stand’s now Sheri may be the next to go as she is the weakest in challenges now with Laura gone.
What a difference a week makes — and a little piece of sand.
Delusional Laura in her parting video: Her greatest moment on Survivor was persuading Reynold to vote for Shamar instead of her at the previous tribal. Wth is she talking about???
Were those 3 ever going to vote for anyone other than Shamar??? and even if they did vote for Laura, they still didn’t have the numbers to do anything.
But she lives in Washington DC — paranoia is in the water there. That must explain why she can’t swim.
Woohoo! Doin’ the happy dance over ShamLazy’s departure. All hail the island gods!
Also glad this season is back to the original format without all the live by yourself on your own little island wasted time.
Did y’all see the previews with Brandon flipping out?
1]Shamar was sent home by a fleck of sand -- a piece of sand taking out that big bad Marine -- oh my how embarrassing -- and it dropped in his eye not when he was doing anything productive but sleeping
2]Matt and Michael woke up just in time
3]Laura Paranoia was sent home by unanimous vote of even her own tribemates Sheri and Julia
4]Sheri went from boss to bubble -- from invincible to vulnerable -- and may be the next to go
All of this in one episode -- shifting the power from the Favs to the Fans -- especially with Brandon's temper tantrum in the next episode indicating that he's probably history.
Talk about things turning --
I predict a good episode for the newly-formed and newly-invigorated FANS — as Brandon goes postal for the FAVS.
Well, Phillip, who thinks he’s so smart, showed just how ham handed he is.
Brandon may have launched but it was Phillip and Andrea who poured the fuel into the rocket.
Phillip ain’t no Boston Rob.
Looks like a tribal swap next week. The Favs will have a numbers advantage and know they will make the merge so look to see the strong Fans guys go on the chopping block.
Cockran and Dawn are looking good. Just stay UTR and go all the way to the final TC. Just pick a good goat. Sherrie?
Well hello there Olive Oil. Just how many coconuts did you get into the bag? -- none. And how many would 82 pound Laura have tossed in? -- none.
She would have been the next to go if the FANS had lost the IC. She can thank Brandon that she is still there. It's amazing what difference a week makes.
Agreed, it was Phillip and Andrea who lit the fuse and then played innocent at TC. Andrea started her little boo-hoo act and Phillip was giving a great immitation of I-tried-to-play-nice-so-don't-look-at-me-’cause-I-di’nt-do-nuffin’-obama. I don't care who goes home next time as long as it's either of those two or Sherri. No, don't pick Sherri as the goat because that gives her more money.
Hope they don't get replacement food. Prior seasons have had to starve a bit. This is survivor. There's no reason they can't pick through the rice and beans. It's not like the rice and beans are ruined and the sand is probably cleaner than their hands. Simple enough to make a sieve with all those palm leaves.
I hope they didn’t send him home immediately but kept him at the Ponderosa for observation.
Sadly he is now on the radar of child protective services although he can always say that he was just performing for the camera.
