Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites is the 26th season of Survivor. It begins February 13, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two hour episode.
As with last season, this season takes place in Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
Bikal Tribe (favorites - purple buffs): Andrea, Brandon, Brenda, Cochran, Corinne, Dawn, Erik, Francesca, Malcolm, Phillip

As worthless as Eric seems, he is much better than Dawn or Cockroach :p
As I look at that jury at this point, if Eddie could get to the final three he could win this — but he has to get to the final three and that would take him winning the next two immunity challenges.
Even if he sat on that panel with Cochran he would probably get votes from Reynolds, Malcom, Michael, Andrea, Brenda — probably 5 of the 8.
But he hasn’t won a challenge thus far and doesn’t seem to have the wherewithal to want to try to win one.

Wow, Brandon is being banned because Mr. Big Super Agent Man is nervous, lol. That’s really pathedic. Now, if it was because he was nuts and had threatened to do something tonight then that would make more sense.
The article about Cochran posed to win is a sure confirmation he’s not going to win. Take Dawn off the board, too. That leaves Eddie, Sherrie and Erik. I’m not impressed with any of them. Sherrie really hasn’t had that much of an arc and I don’t recall a single confessional from her so unless Mark is going with the mystery woman then she’s off as well. Erik hasn’t ticked anyone off and even though he’s voted against the alliance, it hasn’t made any difference in the game. If he won, he’d give the million to the first homeless guy he meets. That gives us Eddie, who hasn’t won an immunity and has done zero strategy as the winner. That said, Cochran deserves it over all of them together.

That sounds like a Survivor winner to me. It describes so many past winners that it's not funny. The million dollar prize doesn't seem to go to the most worthy but to the one who played passively and screwed the fewest people in getting there.
I think in a head to head between Cochran and Eddie, Eddie just might take it with votes from Malcom, Reynold, Brenda, Andrea, Michael -- on the basis that "hey I'm here".
However to get there he has to win the final challenge tonite and I don't see him rising to the challenge.

Sherrie blew any slight chance she might have had in her dreams by her opening statement.
Dawn’s play at being the cut throat strategist fell on deaf ears.

Yep Cochran was well deserving all the way around. Winning the last two challenges and how he handled himself before the jury and his answers were classics. Whatever monkey he might have had on his back from the previous time he played — its off now. Congratulations
Sherri dismissing Eric and telling him to sit down sealed her fate as if she had any chance. He should have told her to stuff it and stood there and said I will sit down when I am finished with you.
Dawn bragging that her gameplan was to sell her friends out is not something you want to brag about in front of the jury most of whom you sold out. What a moron. I think she is going to therapy if she is not in it right now. She had to close her Facebook and Twitter and she’s an English professor at BYU — Oh My.
Brenda making Dawn take her teeth out — LOL. It would have been better for Dawn to let Eddie have her spot and saved the embarrassment of what they said about her. This may have been just a game but not where Dawn was concerned — it showed her ugly side that she has tried to hide.
And finally Brenda being almost 9 months pregnant??? Surely she would not have been pregnant when she played and took some of those spills. So — I am guessing that this season was filmed August of last year, which means that when Malcom told Jeff that he would play again in the December Finale of Survivor Phillipines, he had already played Survivor Caramoan some 4 months back. Ahhh the things they do for television effect.
A very enjoyable final tribal where everyone got to spit it all out — except Andrea who unfortunately for her identified with Dawn.
All in all a very good season and a surprisingly good ending.

Not that Sherrie would have gotten a single vote, but ooooh that bit about her being so successful put her totally out of the running. The cherry on the top was not letting Erik have his say. Rule #392 in Rob's Book of Rules should be don't tick off a jury member.
Dawn.... Sigh.... I never thought anyone could top Sue's snake and rat speech but Brenda did that tonight with Dawn's teeth. O - M - G! Whyyyyy would Dawn do that?!?!? That picture will be on the internet f o r e v e r! Congrats to Brenda and her little junior Survivor.
Congrats to Malcolm for winning the favorite. Phillip was wack a doodle Phillip. Angela was very classy in her TC speech so good on her. Very sneaky way of not bringing attention to the fact the Brandon was MIA by having only the jury on stage.

He already used it -- he had his first jury presentation and won it. And I think it was one of the best and most honest jury presentations that I have heard.
I wonder if he is going to publish his Survivor thesis.

That picture of her without her teeth matches the mindset behind it that could even think to brag about stabbing anyone in the back that came between her and the million dollars. That woman is out of touch with reality and didn't look any better tonite. I think she has a psychiatric couch in her future if she is not on it right now after the show.
The proof is in the pudding; in the end, he took away all the jury votes, after eliminating anyone who was a valid competition for those votes, and every single person who made it to the jury he worked to get out of the game, voted for him.
That’s a pretty select club of Survivor winners. Shame that Cochran is one of the few who could probably name them.

According to TrueDorkTimes.com (a Survivor spoiler website) they started filming on May 21, 2012, Brenda was voted out on June 25th and the final tribal council was filmed on June 28, 2012. So, she didn't waste any time once she got back to the States.
