Corinne got the boot AGAIN?
Corinne deserved to go — what an idiot. Phillip wanted to split the votes between Eddie and Reynold and she argues against it??? What is she thinking??? Let them split their votes, then all you need is 5 votes instead of 7 to take out Sherry. Where was her brain???
Eric hasn’t got a clue why he is out there and as a consequence Malcom’s alliance is toast.
And Cochran emerges as the mastermind who is now in control.
He looked flustered so his “good guy but a snake” might not last long. Still, I like him more than most there. Why, why, why don’t they get rid of Phillip? Surely they aren’t keeping him as the goat. They can put anyone in as the goat. Heck, give it to Michael. The longer you last on the island, the bigger your paycheck is and Phillip doesn’t deserve a dime more.
So that's how it works. And I thought they were all competing for the million dollars.
Why, why, why dont they get rid of Phillip?
They need[ed] the numbers up until now, but now that Cochran is feeling his Wheaties, Phillip's and Malcom's days are numbered. The only question now is who will be going first and after which Fan???
The Alphamale Alliance couldn't perform when it counted. The women are now in control and the men will start collecting the shorter paycheck.
Agree with most of you.......
Corrine blew it last night and painted the target on herself.
She had a solid 5 votes without the wishywashy Erik. When Phillip started talking about splitting the vote she should have just smiled and asked who she was to vote for.
Erik? Wasted slot in the Brain Department. He seems content to be at the bottom of his alliance. “Vote me out when it’s my turn.”
Yep —
And Corinne advertises a =====> Blindside saying it is time for Phillip to go home — but then puts together a vote for Sherry??? When was that clip filmed???
Whatttt??? Sherry was NOT going to be a Blindside. Phillip would have been a Blindside.
Too bad Eric whimped out — it would have been nice to see a tie-breaking trial by fire between Corinne and Sherry.
The only question left for Eric is whether he will win the immunity necklace at some point this season and which of the girls will talk him into giving it away just before they vote him out.
They get X amount for each week they stay on the show and a larger amount each week. There’s a bump in pay if they last to the merge and another bonus if they make the jury. IIRC, the rate for F4 is the largest bump in pay and 3rd and 4th leave with equal amounts. 2nd place gets a large bump, too. Or something along those lines. Do a search for the first and second season because the amounts were put online.
I’ve heard other “reality” shows like Big Brother and Amazing Race pay off only to the winner. Survivor is easy money so it’s no wonder the favs want to come back. With Malcolm being back to back and lasting far into the game, he’s raking in a nice little bundle in a short amount of time.
Reward challenge winner: There was no reward challenge.
Immunity challenge winner: Cochran
Enil Edam (merged tribe - green buffs): Andrea, Brenda, Cochran, Dawn, Eddie, Erik, Malcolm, Michael, Phillip, Reynold, Sherri
Eliminated: Allie, Brandon, Corinne, Francesca, Hope, Julia, Laura, Matt, Shamar
Immunity Idol status: Malcolm has an idol. Reynold has an idol and has told Eddie and Malcolm about it.

As of Survivor: Nicaragua, this is a new Survivor ping list. The old list is no longer available, so I would appreciate it if any of you could ping interested parties to this thread. Thank you. :)
If you want added to or removed from this ping list, please let me know.
Thx — I didn’t know that.
That sure explains a few things.
EW: Finally, tell us the most interesting thing that happened in the first half of the season that we did not see.
MALCOLM: Post-swap Gota, Andrea organized a tribe-wide hidden immunity idol hunt sometime after Reynold told me hed already found it. We were forced to play along and search, but the entire time Reynold and I were struggling to keep a straight face while everyone frantically scoured the island.
So tomorrow night we get to look forward to head of snake trying to suck up to Dawn, and Fast Eddie trying to put the moves on Andrea — both signs of desperation from the once-promising-highly-lauded-but-now-collapsing-into-every-man-for-himself alpha male alliance minus the ice cream scooper of course.
These next few weeks could be embarrassing as we watch the men fight over that II and then sell each other out one by one just to stay one more week [aka 3 more days] on the island.
Since Malcom, Reynold and Eddie are the strongest contenders in challenges [Cochran’s win last week being a fluke], and since Reynold and Malcom both have hidden idols, I would think that Michael will go — if nothing else — as a default choice.
This could be painful to watch as Cochran takes control and masterminds the upcoming purge —
Tonight, Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 8/7c on CBS

I can’t imagine that Big Brother and Amazing Race et. al. don’t pay at least union scale. The unions would have a fit.
$1,000,000 1st Place Sole Survivor
$100,000 2nd Place Runner Up
$50,000 3rd Place
$25,000 4th Place
$20,000 5th Place
$15,000 6th place
$12,000 7th Place
$10,000 8th Place
$9,000 9th place
$8,000 10th Place
$7,000 11th place
$6,000 12th place
$5,000 13th place
$4,000 14th Place
$3,000 15th place
$2,500 16th place Last Place
From what is generally believed the first one voted out receives $2,500.
I believe the payout is $10,000 each for the reunion show. Fan Favorite also get $100,000. On All-Star versions they sometime raise the payouts. In that instance, the first person out received $25,000.
All respect for Malcom is gone. As Dawn said of Malcom — “he’s not dialed in”
He got played and then after voting for Reynold instead of Andrea [as agreed upon], calling it a throwaway vote [whatever that means], he has the audacity to ask Reynold for his immunity idol [whining like a child in front of everybody] who gives it to him, even though Malcom has his own immunity idol in his pocket, and there is not one vote for Malcom.
Had they given the ii to Michael, their plan would have worked and Andrea would be over at the Ponderosa.
Andrea outwitted them all last night, playing Eddie for information and then getting everybody to switch from Malcom to Michael.
How can Malcom show his face in camp the next morning??? He still has his idol but he is clueless. Has he realized yet that Eric is not with him but is voting with the other side???
And now that Reynold’s ii is gone and everyone knows it, Reynold and he will be the main target next week, as Andrea protects her dating game.
Will Malcom return the favor to Reynold and give him his ii next week or just add more shame to his pitiful game and play it himself and let Reynold go to the Ponderosa ahead of him???
Even taking into account editing - and showing the story CBS wants you to see - the scrambling over voting is making no sense.
Mal ain't got a clue as to deeper strategy. Dawn is a loose cannon. Brenda and Erik continue to float. Eddie is anybody but me.
The rest Pzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzztttch.
Reward challenge winners: Eddie, Erik, Cochran, Michael, Reynold
Immunity challenge winner: Brenda
Enil Edam (merged tribe - green buffs): Andrea, Brenda, Cochran, Dawn, Eddie, Erik, Malcolm, Phillip, Reynold, Sherri
Jury: Michael
Eliminated: Allie, Brandon, Corinne, Francesca, Hope, Julia, Laura, Matt, Shamar
Immunity Idol status: Malcolm and Reynold both have idols. At tribal council, Reynold starts to play his idol. However, Malcolm convinces Reynold to give him his idol, which he then plays. No one knows that Malcolm still has his own idol.

Yeah, what the heck was that with the idol? Made no sense. The only good thing that came out of it is that Malcolm made sure everyone totally believes he doesn’t have an II so he can save himself next week. But voting for Reynold was stupid unless he hadn’t been clued in to vote for Michael and was still voting the split and then making a play to get the idol out of play so Reynold would go home. Either way, he should now know that he’s not in the loop. And then he goes to blabber mouth Dawn?!? He’s obviously been out in the sun too long.
Ok, it’s a tie on who I want at Ponderosa - Phillip, Andrea and Sherri. Eddie and Reynold are close behind. Reynold wouldn’t be so bad if he’d grow up and not be focused on outward appearances. No, Reynold, you aren’t even close to being “all that.” Eddie’s just an annoying little follower. Then Sherri gets knighted. Oooh, oooh, Phillip, please give me a super sleuth name!!! Ack, I’d have slapped Phillip hard for that comment about goggling over Sherri’s hotness. What a creep.
Geez, has Dawn ever kept a secret in her lifetime? Has she ever gone a week without a crying fit? She’s someone else who needs to grow up and get a handle on herself. Between creeper Phillip, insane Brandon and over emotional Dawn, Mark Burnett should consider hiring a new head shrink for the contestants.
Did I miss something with the reward challenge? How were the team captains chosen and who were they? Why would anyone pick all girls for their team? And usually, the person sitting out gets to go on the reward but Sherri didn’t get that.
Anyone notice that Cochran is getting more screen time than all the rest put together? He’s getting so much camera time that I’m forgetting who the other players are. I’d long ago forgot about Brenda and wouldn’t have remembered her if she didn’t win II. And did Michael even show up this week until his exit?
Speaking of needing to grow up, Michael’s exit was childish and poor sportsmanship.
“................Speaking of needing to grow up, Michaels exit was childish and poor sportsmanship.”
You’re right on that one - but it seems he settled down a bunch by the time he got to Ponderosa. He next day interview seemed downright calm.
Your first paragraph...ditto.
The “who’s on first” before tribal got really confusing and I had no desire to commit that many brain cells to figuring it out. So when Reynold gave up his HII I was totally surprised. I mean, I got the impression that he Malcolm really thought they were voting for him.
