Survivor: Caramoan — Fans vs. Favorites is the 26th season of Survivor. It begins February 13, 2013 on CBS at 8/7c with a special two hour episode.
As with last season, this season takes place in Caramoan, Camarines Sur, Philippines.
Bikal Tribe (favorites - purple buffs): Andrea, Brandon, Brenda, Cochran, Corinne, Dawn, Erik, Francesca, Malcolm, Phillip
Gota Tribe (fans - orange buffs): Allie, Eddie, Hope, Julia, Laura, Matt, Michael, Reynold, Shamar, Sherri

There is one big thing that Survivor can do to improve the show: TURN DOWN THE BACKGROUND MUSIC when people are speaking so that we can actually hear their words. That way you may not need to put captions on the screen.
Wow — they voted out Julia, the little vanilla waif[er].
Some will contend that she was never really there, but she was. I saw her and tonite she actually spoke.
And she will show up on the Survivor Aftershow talking about how she played the game and detail all her strategic moves that no one ever saw.
For those who don’t know, she was the person that Phillip was talking to when you actually thought that he was talking to himself.
Everyone who sits through Phillip’s dissertations goes home shortly thereafter — Matt, then Julia. After the merge he’ll probably work his magic on Sherry who will then be next to leave.
Previews show the merge happening next episode. I predict that “Special Agent” Phillip gets relieved of duty since the other three on his tribe don’t like him. This will still leave the Favorites with a 7 - 4 advantage.
Well, Corrine missed her chance last night.
She knew how the vote was going to go. All she needed to do was tell Mike and Julia to vote for Phillip and then vote for him also. Phillip would be gone.
But she’s sticking with the Favs and that will be her downfall. She’s on the outs with them.
I think it’s clear that they all just tolerate Phillip and let him play his role as long as it doesn’t hurt them.
If the merge takes place at the beginning of next week there will be 8 Favs to 4 Fans.
If Malcom is serious about his secret alliance with Reynold and Eddie, and Corinne is still attached to Michael, that leaves one easy expendable — Sherry.
The real test will be the following week as FavCorinne will want to protect Fan Michael, FavMalcom will want to protect Fans Eddie and Reynold, but the other Favs [who did not see Malcom and Reynold shaking hands on the beach, and who the camera operators didn’t subsequently tell] — Brenda, Andrea, Cochran, Dawn, and Phillip will push to vote out one of those three.
That is when the S will H the F and the Favs begin to realize that something is afoot and we find out if the alpha male alliance of MalcomEricReynoldEddie is for real.

I thought the same. Any one of them could have spoken up and turned the vote against Super Agent Strongman but they let him continue to lord over them. It's one thing to sit back and ride the wave but one day your name will be written and you won't have anyone to have your back. What was all that, "ohh, I'm so strong so we've got this in the bag, uh, hmm, wait, I'm so smart I threw the strongman game so we could get the numbers" baloney? Ok, fine, they had the numbers already but that speech was a pile of baloney. Anyone else missing half the show because they're zoning out whenever he opens his mouth?

Even though the Favorites have the number advantage, from here on out should prove interesting as we get to see the outwit, outlast, out "lie" activity start.
I think this is another season where a number of people think they have control - and the rest don’t really care but want to ride the train as long as they can.
I think this is another season of an UTR winner.
Cochran and Dawn are doing a good job of keeping the daggers pointed at other folks.
Now who will be the recipient of this one. Many potential candidates come to mind.
Voting off Reynold or Eddie might be a mild ====> given the apparent alphamale alliance but not that unexpected.
That ====> therefore implies that a Fav could be going home.
Corinne??? Phillip???
Well, we’re looking at the merge.
The Favs should continue the the tactic of picking off the Fans but a couple of heads on the Favs team could figure they could do without Phillip or Corrine.
My guess is Phillip thinks he has all the Favs in his pocket and goes after Corrine.
I can see that and I can see an almost unanimous vote for him if he insists on Corinne.
Clueless Phillip returning from exile thinking that his kingdom is still is his and his subjects are still loyal to him, as if they ever were.
Don’t be too sure.
The other Favs will have a choice - Phillip or Corrine.
My bet is they think Phillip will be able to be taken out fairly easily later on while Corrine is already making friends with the other side (”the Gay guy”).
Out Corrine - followed in quick order by the pretty boys = to include Mal.
Well just thinking out loud —
At the merge it would seem natural that Corinne [with her new best gay friend Michael]would get back together with her friend Malcom who now has a secret 4 person alphamale alliance [Malcom, Eric, Reynold, Eddie] thus giving this group 6 out of 12 votes and atleast a tie.
I can see them getting Sherry’s vote as the 4th of the 4 remaining FANs in return for 3 more days on the island. As much as she hates Reynold/Eddie she will vote with them for her survival.
But since Andrea is so boy crazy and jealous of Corinne, and since she is aligned with Phillip, I can see her voting for Corinne.
How Brenda, Cochran, Dawn would vote??? I see them as wanting to be loyal to the FAV tribe and continuing to want to take out the FANs.
I can see a possibility of a 3 way split of votes: 2 Corinne 3 FAN 7 Phillip OR 7 Phillip 5 FAN
For Corinne to be voted out the alphamale alliance would have to fracture and/or Malcom sell her out, and it is too early in the game for that to happen.

I don’t care if it’s Corine, as long as the blindside isn’t Malcom.
The question is this:
Since all we know about what is going on is what Survivor producers show us in the Preview Clips, are we the ones that are going to be Blindsided???
In the first ever episode, Mark manipulated the final four/five preview.
I’m with you bgill. I don’t want to see Malcolm get the boot. If we can still count on talk time then I think he should be safe this week since last week was really the first we’ve heard from him this season. **fingers crossed**
