When you tell the truth about them, they want you to die. Make no mistake, Rush gets plenty of hate - more than Beck, I think.
1. He was one of the first to personally mock The One on national television, and made an audience doing so in a bad time slot.
2. He got hundreds of thousands of people to gather on the National Mall. Sandra “dumb slut” Fluke can’t even get ten people together to hear her whine about wanting other people to pay for her birth control.
3. Much of what he said at that time (I haven’t listened or watched for some time now) was spot on, and truth to liberals is like sunlight to vampires. It exposes them, makes them angry and causes them to look and smell worse than they usually do.
I think one reason they hate him now, is that he is bypassing the media system they have set up. He has his own successful network with no debt and no liberal bosses to reign him in. And he continues to grow.
Because he teaches and encourages people to find the facts for themselves.
Democrats have an approved roster of people to tell you “the truth” and very often you’ll see them ridiculing anyone who might look elsewhere. Thinkers are an unacceptable risk to the left.
In all fairness there are some people here who hates Glenn Beck.. I think mostly due to the fact that he is a Mormon..

And all the while opening closets, displaying skeletons, exhuming bodies, finding and producing evidence, names names, dates and venues.

My personal opinion is that he’s the most hated because he goes so far out of his way to source and “prove” his comments. I think Rush is no less accurate but he won’t dedicate entire segments to education concerning the constitution where Beck will.
IMHO....it’s because he has a crack research team that digs up connections, backgrounds, history, quotes, videos....you name it....on very powerful people on the left.
As someone here put it once very, very well: Rush, et al comment on the news; Beck MAKES news.
BTW, it’s not just libs. There are plenty here on FR that seem to loathe the man. I don’t get it at all.
Short answer: because the left instructs their followers to hate Beck.
Whatever the media/Dems say are parroted by their followers in a lockstep manner.
To elaborate into a longer answer, Beck was much more visible to the left because he was on cable tv and on Fox in particular. Additionally, many were introduced to him when he was on TV, so he is a known entity. Rush is only visible to the left if they chose to tune into AM radio (which few do). Their exposure to Rush is quote and soundbites. Also, I think Beck was a major driving force between Jan 09 and November 2010 when we shifted public opinion to our side almost completely. He is an activist, in addition to an on-air personality, and had a visible hand in the tea party movement.
The real question is why so many so-called ‘conservatives’ hate Beck...
Because Lib’s are like Islamists...they hate everyone who do not agree with them.....
They do not have the capacity to disagree rationally....
Liberals hate anyone who has the ability to think for themself and is not dependent upon BIG government. If you’re not a useful idiot out there promoting BIG government, you are a “bad person”. Oh yeah. And you’re a “rasis” too.

Beck uses these items like modern day Van Hesling...
Because “Spooky Dude” pays big bucks to lots of media types to hate Glen Beck.
