Labeling foods is a moral thing to do to keep us from illness. There are so many questionable farming livestock practices which USDA allows, obviously those practices have great potential doing more harm to our body. Excerpt from the Article: Nine examples of what the public isnt supposed to know (1) Recombinant Bovine Growth Hormone (rBGH):Its injected into cows to force more milk production. Monsanto created it by combining cow DNA and E. coli (really). Now Eli Lily owns it. It infects cows udders, causing gross malformations and demands a plethora of antibiotic injections which furthers the creation of antibiotic resistant superbugs. It also leaves small amounts of pus in consumers milk. For a few years, farmers who labeled their milk no rBGH were harassed with legal actions by Monsanto. That level of free speech has been halted, yet rBGH treated milk is not labeled. (2) Toxic drugs in meat:The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has determined that meat inspectors lack the wherewithal to find certain toxic drug residues in meats from factory farming. Parasites and bacteria can be cooked out. Drugs and heavy metals cant be cooked out.

Blue Diamond regular unsweetened Almond milk.
Or Buy Almonds, soak 24 hours, then put in blender.
You have listed yourself as the author of this material.
Why have you excerpted it?
Nope. And the times I’ve found out what was in my food I generally preferred ignorance. If it tastes good and doesn’t make me sick that’ll do.
Sick freaks.
Just like the genetically-engineered crops designed to withstand higher dosages of pesticides. Win-win for Monsanto and the pesticide manufacturers. Dangerous, unproven food for the consumers, with higher toxic residues to go with it. Then you have the com lobbies pushing HFCS now proven to cause detrimental effects in the body in excess of what plain cane sugar does, calorie-for-calorie.
I cringe at the thought of eating food products made in America in such a manner.
Eliminate some of the worry by having a garden.
Disclaimer: I have not read this, nor am I going to. However, I have lived through the 70s the Alar scare, the high-colonic nonsense, the Wild vs ‘Pet’ Salmon fright, the Kale> beef saga, and so forth.
All this to say - the food here in America is high quality, safe, well cared for, and nutritious. I think the hyperbole about ‘X is going to kill you” is nonsense; haven’t we bigger problems to deal with, that could really make the world a better place? Do we not trust our farmers to care for their livestock and to do a good job? It is their livelihood. Are we really so suspicious that we have to look under every rock to protect ourselves? all the time? Have the people who are so fearful and paranoid really ever traveled in other parts of the world? Where you could really, actually, DIE from the food?
Is some of this just fear of death projected out? I just do not believe it warrants the fear and hyperbole that it foments. I am not sure it is Christ’s great vision for our lives, either, to focus on these small things. And I really do not believe that more government regulation (will the government really save us from death?) is warranted.
Just my two-bits.
What they won't allow is the consumer the freedom to buy raw milk if they so choose from a dairy that the consumer knows has excellent livestock practices.
Factory farms, chemtrails - whats your agenda?
Blog post ?
bboop, I tend to agree with you. While not all corporations are great guys, and we need to be thorough in our analysis of new things -
our average life span in the U.S. continues to increase. I really don’t think it would if our food supply was that bad.
This doesn’t mean I don’t want testing and etc. for any innovation. It just means that it seems apparent to me that at least most major innovations thus far have been to our benefit.
Another useless screed. Burb!

Plant Based Diet, no dairy. The documentary showed remarkable evidence to moving to this diet.
Read the book “Science Left Behind” and you will quickly discount 99% of the natural (say UN Agenda 21) crap put out by the envir-wackos and progressives.
I have not read this, nor am I going to...the food here in Americas is high quality, safe...
or
I have no data to base my opinion on, but here it is, and its worth about two cents...
rBGH and rBST are so 1990s. The vast majority of milk producers reject milk contaminated with them, so most dairies no longer use them.
Milk producers label their milk accordingly, but are required to put an FDA notice next to the “rBST free”, that according to the FDA, there is no significant difference between milk with it and milk without it.
Of course, what they sell that passes for “milk” still tastes like water with powdered chalk, but that’s another issue.
I have that currently in my refrigerator- The Blue Diamond Almond Milk due to regular milk is giving me digestive problems. However, I have trouble drinking it because it taste kinda of watery. I am trying to change my diet gradually but this Almond Milk not sure. I guess it is an acquire taste that will take time. I feel like throwing it out but at the same time I want to try to get sips of it so I can adjust to it. I used it in a cereal and it kinda of disgust me.
You can try silk almond milk. Vanilla is almost like drinking vanilla shake.
You can try soy milk. I have a relative that drinks it, but I can’t. It doesn’t agree with my stomach.
Definitely don’t try coconut milk. Very watery.
You took the words right out of my mouth - or fingers.
Another “scare”. I swear Americans - ALL Americans - and people generally, NEED something to gripe about and be afraid of. Since for some apparently there’s not really enough to be afraid of here in this country, they find SOMETHING to scapegoat. Liberals do this all the time, and publicize it and sloganize it.
This is exactly like liberal/commie squawking about “health care”. So many poor people are suffering!!! Where? Do we really have dead bodies all over the streets because they are so diseased? You’d think we were in the Black Plague the way people act - and so, we had enough scared fools to pass that commie $!#@$!#@$. Now we WILL be dying in the streets.
First track of the first “King Crimson” album ping.
