Thank you two gals! I hope you both are having a beautiful Sunday. I am thrilled we are above 40 degrees as we have had some stinking cold weather as of late. We’re not through with winter yet but we will have 2 days this coming week in the high 60’s and thats a heat wave for me.

I just keep thinking “it won’t be long until Spring” and that will make me very happy.

Mary Lou, my sister in law moved to Florida a year ago as both her sons live there. She is thrilled with the change and loves the weather!

DEAR LORD, who suffered torment, agony, and death upon the Cross to free our souls from the chains of iniquity, protect and defend our troops. Guide them in the performance of their duties. Strengthen them to endure hardship, danger and deprivation in Your service. Thank you Teenie, that’s nice. I have a Holy Card, - that someone sent me after my daughter died - propped up near me on my computer desk. It says, “Jesus, I trust in You”, and I try to repeat that phrase often during the day.

I’ve lived in my town since 1969, and I still get a newspaper every day because so much is local news. I read it when I go to bed at night. On Saturdays there is always a religious section with many columns by different Ministers, Priests, etc, and I read them hoping to derive some answers and comfort. There are no ‘new’ revelations, but that is as it should be.
