I have wondered how much all the various Freepers weigh. I know by reading stories on here that we have had people get diabetes type II from their weight, all the way to ectomorphs who work out 7 days a week. Obviously, don't post your weight if you do not want to, but I just thought it would be interesting to see our weight spans. I am 42.
220 lbs
5’10”
49
385 squat
405 deadlift
male anglo
What do I win?
I am 43 years old, 5’8” and weight 182. Could lose a few pounds for sure.
6’0”.... 165 pounds. 53 years old and run a mile and a half 4 days a week :)
Was diagnosed type II diabetes 2 years ago, got off pills less than one year later.
Bloodwork last week has doctor amazed, is like that of a 20 year old.
To lose the weight, stopped eating my favorite Humpty Dumpty's potato chips and other misc. junkfood and switched to barbecued or jappaleno sunflower seeds.
Moderate exercise, pitting the body against itself, and walking to and from targets at the range.
I am actually doing more exercise since detaching a MCL, injuring ACL and breaking landing of left tibia in November, just do all exercising laying down or sitting.
I now have more time to exercise as I can't do anything else, very maddening.
6’4”,235,I do a lot of hard physical work around the farm so I’m in pretty good shape.
5’5” and 115 pounds. I struggle to maintain it..which always annoys people. If I get sick, I will easily drop five pounds and it takes me months to gain it back. The maternal side of the family tends towards the opposite; I inherited the skinny gene from Dad’s side.
I’m always getting “Have you lost MORE weight”..or “Good grief girl, eat some desserts!” No one would ever think of making disparaging comments like that to a larger person. It’s rather embarrassing.
5’9 170 55 YO I am one of those that works out five or six days a week.
All depends on download time. Some days can get pretty rough.
I’m 70 and weighed in an hour ago at 192.4. (Yes, we’ve got a digital scale)
and I am a towering 5’8” (questionable). Thirty years ago I tipped the scales at 250. I underwent my first triple bypass 5/25/83, and shortly thereafter began a serious running program. Shortly after returning to duty, my leaders decided to put me back on the horse that threw me, so they sent me TDY to Baghdad. I ran just about every day through those horribly polluted streets. In Baghdad, I first learned about “The Hash House Harriers” and ran with them often. I ran four miles a day in Mexico City at 7,500 feet, in Havana at sea level and in Jo’burg at 4K, and a lot of other locations in Africa and Latin America. Now, I’m disabled and get around on a cane on a good day, and am holding my walker in reserve. I can’t even walk outside now. Aren’t you glad you asked? Ask me what time it is, and I’ll tell you how to make a clock.
43 years
72” tall
205#
Never purposely exercise, but walk between 10-15 miles per 12-hour shift, 4 days a week.
Eating whatever I like.
Mainly things that used to be alive -and had blood flowing in ‘em.
NOMS!!
73 ..... 6’ 230+
(<:)At one time would be referred to as ‘pleasingly plump) (’nice’ people that is) I just say I have a permanent flotation device attached to my waist, still wear off the rack 38-30 although I discovered the 38 gets lower as time progresses, and, as a result, the legs are longer these days...
BUT seeing as I figured even money on never seeing 50, things aren’t so awful bad.
Happy New Year to ALL!
BTW (in case you haven’t guessed) the height/weight proportion is terribly distorted......

Please. Eat a grape. :)
Wow! I’m surprised you are telling your very personal information.
I've always said that running wasn't good for you.......
Not only that but no matter how far or how fast you run, you always end up where you started so whats the point in that?
That's exactly what I was thinking as well. Considering an hour or so earlier there was a similarly worded thread asking for peoples ages, but it was from a different FReeper.
Just saw another thread by Laz asking for eye color and hair color
Remember when they'd line folks up by height? There's always been somebody to my left who was shorter. ALWAYS!
60 yrs old, 6’ tall and weigh 178. I wore the same class A uniform at my retirement last year as I did for my graduation from the US Army Sergeant Majors Academy in 1991.
Long walks on the beach, world peace and the color blue.
Age 65
Weight 170
Height 5’7”
Illness? Incurably Texan
