A home video allegedly taken just before Christmas during a late-night flight appears to show a UFO flying next to the plane. The video, posted to YouTube by a man named Mauricio Ruiz, has the Internet buzzing.

Not from that angle. (Says the optical engineer after doing some quickie ray tracing in his head.) For that to be something inside the cabin, the source would have to be in the seat back in front of photographer.
And then the fight started...
"Not vessel. WESSEL!"
It is a reflection of the panel ~ not just the lights ~ there are all sorts of designs but this is the idea http://us.123rf.com/400wm/400/400/siwasasil/siwasasil1210/siwasasil121000022/15597385-overhead-console-in-the-passenger-aircraft.jpg
You'd be able to see this from the A seat looking toward the F window seat
Yes, of course, “Wessel”
It was a Chinese ICBM rocket with a nuke warhead which had been fired from a North Korean Submarine just off the coast of Hawaii.
If it were something within the cabin, you would see 2 images of it; one from the interior pane and one from the exterior pressure window. There are no 2nd ghost images of any of the object’s features. The clincher is when he places his hand next to the window. You see the image of the object superimposed on the image of his hand. At that moment, the source would have to be in the palm of his hand. It clearly isn’t something inside the aircraft.
That would have to be my favorite episode of Twilight Zone that I can remember. (didn’t watch it until late 80’s on reruns)
I already did.. He’s got one of a cloud forming and he thinks it’s a UFO. LOL Clouds can form quickly under the right conditions.
I watch CNN. It’s an AK 47.
TRUE. However, answer this. Why does it seem that in both segments, the 'object' is in a fixed position w/regards to the window ? If the 'object' were outside the plane, you would expect it to move some within the perimeter of the window.
Note also that in this video there were two different 'views' of an 'object'. The first one had the look of an artificial source. The second left me clueless.
Both seemed to actually be a gimmick to make money off YOUTUBE VIDEOS.
I had that same problem. Found out my phone was plugged into the INTERNET jack and the DSL box was plugged into the PHONE jack on the line splitter. Reversed them and the buzz on BOTH went away.

It is an ice light reflecting of the engine nacelle. It is way to fixed in relation to the aircraft to not be coming from the aircraft.
Ice lights are cockpit controlled lights to see if ice is accumulating on wing or engine nacelle leading edges.
I'm just glad the universal language of the known and unknown Universe is english.
I thought along the same lines as you. Perhaps it’s the reflection of the light in the window from across the aisle.
Paging Louis Farrakhan, your ride has arrived.
Nein? Sehr gut, zurück in die Hölle...
Hard to beat the old Twilight Zones, probably saw every episode several times.
Rod Serling's intros really set the mood for each episode.
That’s what I wondered. He just sat there, and took a picture, and didn’t tell anyone? No one else saw or noticed? Baloney.
