I think we need to see homeowners "explain" to the BATF that this isn't going to happen easily.

Why buy the stuff if you're not going to use the stuff, and if you'll hand it over to the first guy who asks for it? Why'd you spend the money????

Why do you ask?

Were you planning on registering something?

Really?

eefm!

It won’t pass anyway.

Let BO try some EO crap, and see how that works...

Personally, I doubt this will come to anything, or survive its first Supreme Court test if does.

Non-starter, IMO.

NO. Even if Congress should pass such a law, it would take years to get to the USSC for such specifics in regard to their recent ruling. They would have to deal with every little evil looking nuance a particular weapon has.

I doubt they would take the case which would leave it to the States. Even if they did, I highly doubt even Roberts would rule that semi-autos (handguns included) to be unlawful.

I wouldn't worry about this. Obambi doesn't have the cojones to sign an EO outlawing semi's. He may be brazen enough to sign other EO's, but he won't attempt such a complete overthrow of our system. Yes, I know liberals and incrementalism, but this just won't happen.

(Elsewhere, I’ve already seen an instant parody of her statements, basically substituting “negroes” for gun references.)

“Sen. Dianne Feinstein unveiled a negro control proposal that would require federally approved licensing of all black and many mixed race Americans. Feinstein said her plan is intended to keep America safe from “black criminals, blacks with mental disabilities, and black children who will become criminals.”

“Under her plan, black applicants for negro licenses would have to pay $25 and go to one of 100,000 federal police officers or to a state-certified office of negro affairs.

“The officer or state-approved official would then record the negroes personal information and license them with the Department of Health and Human Services. Applicants would be required to submit a thumb print, a photograph, their name, birthplace and address, and sign a statement swearing that the information is accurate.

“They would also have to pass a written literacy test that would pose questions about the law and the negroes legal responsibilities. The licenses would be renewable every five years and could be revoked.

“No negro or mixed race negro will be grandfathered, and if not licensed they must be turned in or be in criminal violation.”

Sort of puts what she is proposing in context, doesn’t it?

Back when I was into hobby rocketry a lot of the guys needed BATF “Low explosive user permit”s to store rocket motors over a certain size.

They had to agree to give up their rights in order to get said permit...BATF could search their homes and/or storage magazines at will.

I simply never went that big and that was one of the reasons.

(As an aside, Sen. Enzi of Wyoming nearly got a bill passed to get the BATF off the hobby rocketeers asses but our pal Chuckie Schumer went on the Senate floor waving around a big cardboard rocket and proceeded to rail about how we had no business doing such things, that prick bastard)

I think that the law reads that you can be required to provide your NFA weapons be available for inspection from time to time. They cannot just show up at your door and demand entrance and inspection. They must give you reasonable advance notice and may inspect ONLY the NFA items on their list. They may not inspect your other firearms nor are they allowed to snoop around.

Well, if the answer is yes, then why would you register them? Just don’t register, and they have no right to search your home, so they can’t confiscate your weapons.

The Chi-Coms demand that American citizens be disarmed.. and who is the first to spring into action?

It's no secret that Feinstein and her financier husband Richard Blum have close ties to Red China. Some of their wealth comes from Red China.

And there's this from 2001,

Chinese pilot Wang Wei twice "buzzed" the U.S. EP-3 Aries II plane over international waters, flying directly for the EP-3 Aries II, the F-8 hit the propeller of the U.S. plane's No. 1 engine causing the crash of the Chinese F-8.

I was angered that Ms Feinstein expressed her feelings "on behalf of the American people." I informed her in an angry letter that she did not speak for me. Her staff's reply was a copy of their publicity release claiming that she "did not apologize for the incident" and blamed confusion about her statements she made on "Crossfire;" she was expressing "sorrow that the Chinese pilot lost his life."

Best if the Americans apologise now - soon the Chinese could rule the US (2001)

"Dianne Feinstein, the senior senator from California, was unusual in rushing to apologise for the EP-3 incident."

(This article was not the source I was reacting to back then.)

I’m not sure how the feds can enforce this if the states don’t go along. Sort of like federal anti-marijuana laws in WA and CO.

No it does not!

Anyone saying it does needs to quote actual law - which they can’t because it doesn’t exist.

Mind you, if you have an NFA gun and no Form 4 life could get very difficult fast.
