Now I've been watching this news for most of the day. Remarkably, it seems to change every few minutes.
First, we had the name change. Who exactly did the shooting? Ryan? Adam? Someone else?
Then, we hear that someone in camo garb or something was apprehended in the woods. When I first heard this, I assumed it was the brother and that was why there was confusion about the name.
But turns out that the brother was actually at work - and was not in the woods. So who was in the woods?
We hear that the mother is a teacher at the school. Then we hear that she was actually a teachers assistant. Then I see a brief interview with someone who DOES work at the school and who says "Nobody here every heard of her."
Then, tonight, she is reported as being unemployed.
First, the guns (which we have YET to get a clear description of the types and calibers) were stolen from the mother. Then, they were "legally purchased"... but no indication when or from where. Latest, a brief statement that they were "legally purchased with a license provided by a family member"... Now I'm not trying to label anybody here, but it sounds a little out of character that some suburban mom in small-town New England would have that many guns.
Huh?
The ONLY picture we have seen of this guy so far is an out-of-focus pic taken in 2005! 2005? He didn't have a drivers license? A girlfriend? I can't see how he might get a gun without some sort of valid photo id.
Last I heard, only three of the children made it to the hospital. If so, this would be a stunning percentage kill-ratio wise for the guy. In fact in most public shootings, the vast majority are wounded, but not killed. Did this guy have some kind of training?
Too many loose ends. The story keeps changing.
Am I the only one who is having trouble thinking that this was just some whacko dude who blew a fuse and started shooting?
I think there was one wounded (child?) taken and survived. The number of dead isn’t hard to believe. The adults in a small entrance/office with no weapons, caught by surprise.
The second group probably huddled in a classroom - a teacher with 17 kindergartners in her class. He slaughtered them all. (: Probably not hard when they are little kids in the 50-60 pound range. God damn him.
The guy in camo in the woods - perhaps backup? Or perhaps a Dad with a gun that knows that area and came to help out. If it is the later - I hope that story just “goes away”.
When I heard that the guy’s mom was a teacher’s assistance, I wonder if the guy, in his deranged mind, was mad at his mom for spending so much time with the school kids and not paying attention to him - so he “got back” at mom and the little kids?
I don’t believe for a moment that this is some government conspiracy - just a nutcase kid. But you can bet Obama and his ilk will be calling for gun bans, etc. - heck, the little kid’s bodies were still cooling and you started to hear about stricter gun laws, etc.
I grieve for the parents and family and friends of these people.
Bad information, incorrect information.
The dead shooter, Adam Lanza, had ID from his brother, Ryan, on his corpse, so he was misidentified.
The secure glass door to the school was “apparently” shot out, so references to the shooter being buzzed-in might not be correct.
The principal, the school psychologist and another were "apparently" the first slaughtered. All reports say that his mother was shot in the face at home in her bed and that he took her guns and drove her car to the school. "Apparently," most of the dead little children are from a kindergarten class, however that informative Police Lieutenant has stated that two classrooms were scenes of the slaughter.
Reports say that the shooter, Adam Lanza was mentally disabled. What does that mean? Does that mean he was a slow learner?
I saw a guy interviewed who said he tried to make friends with him in high school to no avail.
I've heard him called a sociopath. I think not, unless he has a criminal record.
His pathology will be interesting. Anti-social personality disorder, Paranoid schizophrenia, drug use, alcohol use, family relations, etc. Looks to me like he hated his mother and likely hated the attention she gave to the kids at the school. Deep, dark resentments.
I hope at least one grieving parent will mention the need to put God back in school = to put God back into the classrooms.
The night before this horrid unspeakable tragedy, the school held its "Winter Concert". How tragic it wasn't the school's CHRISTMAS CONCERT, because now the townspeople and grieving parents are all praying and talking about those poor little children missing CHRISTMAS!
Secularists, the ACLU and demonic-rats can all GTH.
God control is not working, and gun control won't work unless guns can be made to automatically jump out of the hands of murderers and psychopaths.
We can easily fix God control.
Put God and prayer back in the classroom. Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
May God have mercy on the sweet souls of those poor children and may He hold their grieving families dear.
Nope. Not one.
Reports I heard say the few who went to a hospital went to Danbury. Not sure exactly how far that is.
Alot of the small towns on the east coast are only a couple miles apart, might actually have been faster to drive them than wait for a chopper setup.
Awesome, can't wait hear her explain how this is actually George W Bush's fault.
New story on the principal from local Connecticut news site. . .
Principal, school psychologist ran to help
By one eye-witness account, Hochsprung and school psychologist Mary Sherlach were in a routine meeting Friday around 9:30 a.m. when they heard gunshots.
They leaped out of their seats and ran out of the room toward the noise, said Diane Day, a therapist who works at the school and was in the meeting, The Wall Street Journal reported on its website.
“They didn’t think twice about confronting or seeing what was going on,” Day said.

The dude was wearing body armor.
This is NOT just a case of somebody “slighty autistic” going on a rampage.
There is more to it. We might never know for sure what, but there is more to it.
Good insight and info.
If THAT’S true, imagine if they had weapons themselves and were trained in using them...how much better this *maybe* could’ve turned out.
Sure doesn’t seem possible that a young, skinny, untrained, autistic could be such a proficient and cold blooded killer.
Someone reported that he recognized and let the killer in. So now we have a report the he was in a meeting?
A .223 in a 5 - 8 year old is not going to wound.
It’s only going to kill. The damage to a body that small will
be almost inevitably fatal.
Sickening. Evil - defined.
Satan has visited us in full force - and will do his even greater damage through his agents called Democrats - and RINO’s.........
Thank you, onyx.
Prayers ...
Early twenties seems to be problematic years for some men.
No.
She...Dawn Hochsprung (photo at link)...according to an “eye-witness account”.

The Principal was killed correct so we can’t verify with the Prinicpal.
It takes a truly delusional, unmerciful individual to ceremoniously shoot little children to death. It's unimaginable.
I’m wondering if there are vids. Doesn’t make a dimes worth of sense to me that some place is going to install a push-button security system and not install a twelve dollar camera.
Actually, I think many of those systems work by camera so somebody can be sitting at a desk, glance at their computer monitor, see who’s at the door and buzz or not...
There must be vids.
