Study suggests we could refreeze Arctic. But should we?

A record loss of Arctic sea ice and faster-than-expected melting of Greenlands ice cap made worldwide headlines in 2012, but research published in major science journals in the fall suggest warming in the North doesnt have to continue.
We could refreeze the Arctic, proposed a paper in Nature Climate Change. It wouldnt even cost that much, said an affiliated study in Environmental Research Letters.
The question is should we?
In terms of pure technical capacity, any significant nation in the world could do it, said David Keith, a Calgarian and professor of applied physics at Harvard University, one of the lead authors in both studies.
The really hard questions here arent mostly technical. Theyre questions about what kind of planet we want and who we are.

I vote *YES* if it means AlGore will go away, finally.

The Arctic is refreezing itself, but the lib media refuses to report on that.

How about if we just send Al Gore to the Arctic. Based on past history, he’s a one-man local cooling engine.

We’d have to turn off the underwater volcanoes that are erupting in the Arctic first! Let’s see those enviro-nuts accomplish that one.

Both recently proved to be wrong - Arctic has almost recovered it’s “lost” sea ice. Greenland’s ice cap is melting slower than was predicted.

Putin wants the oil. The international agreements on not staking claims for such exploration don’t matter to him, so they ought not matter to us either.

Well, it won’t be Russia and Canada. The only other entity with enough ambition to match Russia’s, believe it or not, is the European Union. (That is, once they unite around a strong leader, and I wonder if people are praying that such a thing does not happen.)

Freeze the planet to kill off 2-3 billion people in order to create the perfect utopia.
Remember that these people believe that the planet is overpopulated. The real agenda
is that with so many people it's impossible to control mass populations.
Someone should send them a few history books.

Ummmm. *raises hand*
Aren't we supposed to have rising oceans and drowning cities and people dying with all this extra water going into the oceans at this point?
Just askin'.
