I could care less about Pacquiao (or boxing in general).
But, if he’s for Reid and Brown, then, GREAT for Marquez! If they rematch, Marquez should knock his jawbone off his skull.
The enemies must be ID’ed and dealt with; Pacquiao is clearly an enemy.

You are, for thinking a sporting event is so important to a political site like FR that it just couldn't wait until people had a chance to see it. Most people know enough to avoid the sports section of their newspaper or a site like ESPN if they don't want to know who won the fight. Instead they come here and get it ruined by people like you who hide behind mama's skirt and point fingers.

The one major opponent they have in common just knocked Manny out after 3 other very close fights. This is the same guy who lost every round to Mayweather in a fight that was more of a sparring session/boxing lesson, after Mayweather had come off of a long layoff.
I get it, you think Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter ever, even with 2 losses in a row. But Mayweather made more than twice as much money in his last fight as Pacquiao made in this one, he's undefeated and there isn't anyone who has even come remotely close to beating him in a very long time. He didn't need Pacquiao to make money before, he needs him even less now.
I personally think Mayweather is a jerk and Pacquiao seems to be a nice enough guy but Mayweather is the one who holds all the cards.

Probably as far as it would have gotten me if I had complained to MNGT about the title being changed from Marquez Knocks Out Pacquio to Marquez vs Pacquio (spoiler alert) and having the original AP title in the thread because you, gasp!, broke the rules!!!

The greatest “little guy” fighter was Roberto Duran. In his late 30s he was still winning belts. In his heyday as a Lightweight, he was the greatest ever. The early version of Pacquiano reminded me of Duran, but Duran absolutely lived to fight, he had none of the distractions, i.e., singing and political career like the Pacman has. Styles make fights and Marquez had the style to frustrate Manny. I think both fighters should retire. Mayweather has already beaten
Marquez. He’ll never fight him again.
