Potato the dog from Jiangsu province in China has been taught to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Proud dog owner Lu Zesheng says he has been able to train his two-year-old canine companion Potato to do arithmetic. Lu poses the questions, and Potato barks the answers.
For example, when asked: "How much is 3.44 plus 3.56?" Potato barks seven times which, according to Lu, means he knows the answer is seven.

Big deal. I asked my dogs what you get when you take 2 to the third power, add 2 and subtract 10.
They said nothing.

In England, they shorten mathematics to maths, instead of math, like we do in the United States.

Neighbor had a dog that could play chess.
First time I saw them playing chess together in the kitchen I was amazed.
Told my neighbor his dog was pretty damned smart - maybe a dog genious even.
He said: “Nah - he ain’t so smart - I can beat him two out of three times....”

And I bet when you ask him what 2.44 plus 4.56 is, or 3.61 plus 3.39 is, or 56 divided by 8 is, he also barks seven times! Amazing!

I knew that guy! He went to either Clemson or Auburn...I can’t remember which.

Sounds like a good animal trainer. Wonder if he could teach Slow Joe to tap his answers out with his foot?
