The first look at Star Trek Into Darkness is making some people angry because they think it looks like some sort of Dark Knight Rises clone. I am not one of them. I loved J.J. Abrams’s first movie so much that nothing could make me dislike this one.

The character in the trailer does have a coat similar to Kahn’s IIRC. But he doesn’t look like Kahn. I’m going to guess this character was the leader of the uegenics wars. (Can’t remember his name...)

Trailer looks good its got Inception music did Hans Zimmer do the score?
No Michael Giacchino did the score. He did the score for the first one, and “MI: Ghost Protocols”, as well.

I hate to sound ugly, she is still pretty, but Alice Eve looks somewhat bloated in the trailer.
Bought the movie one of my favs its mindblowing also bought the soundtrack..
Hans Zimmer is brilliant did all the scores for the Batman trilogy..
If I had to venture a guess, given her haircut, Eve will be playing Dr. Elizabeth Dehner (Sally Kellerman’s role in the 2nd pilot). Unless she’s playing Dr. Carol Marcus (the “little blonde lab tech”). Hard to tell with all the historical revisionism.
Oh, when I went on Wikipedia earlier, a moment after I did, somebody changed “The Villain” to “Gary Mitchell.” If it’s Mitchell, then how will NuKirk have had any friendship (or rivalry), as they attended the academy together and presumably served on a mission together (especially how NuKirk went from angry civilian punk to Starship Captain in Faux Trek in 5 seconds flat) ?
