The correct answer is:
Holiday Inn, 1942, starring Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire and Virginia Dale. This movie introduced
White Christmas and is far superior to the later movie of that name.
(the Lincoln's Birthday number is sufficiently offensive to modern sensibilities that the movie has been largely relegated to the dust bin)

It’s a Wonderful Life, White Christmas and a couple of wonderful Christmas movies that are often overlooked:
Christmas in Connecut (Barbara Stanwyck) and The Bishop’s Wife (Cary Grant, Loretta Youn, David Niven)
Also love How the Grinch Stole Christmas (animated version)
Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version)
Holiday Inn
Home Alone 1

Can an old tv show episode be nominated?
If so, I choose “Night of the Meek”, the wonderful Twilight Zone piece starring Art Carney as a drunken department store Santa who gets fired, and in despair, stumbles into an alley where he finds a sack with more than just tin cans in it...
It’s available for viewing on the net if you search for it.
