The number of gay and bisexual men being diagnosed with HIV in the UK reached an "all-time high" in 2011, according to the Health Protection Agency (HPA).
It said there had been a "worrying" trend since 2007, with more and more new cases each year.
Nearly half of the 6,280 people diagnosed last year were men who had sex with other men (MSM).
Overall, one in 20 MSM are infected with HIV.
Of those diagnosed in 2011, nearly two-thirds had not been to a sexual health clinic in the previous three years.

Tax funded Planned Parenthood (works with publik skoolz) encourages kids to go ahead and spread AIDS/HIV to their partners if they aren’t comfortable telling them about their HIV status.
That is illegal in most states isn’t it?

I call it sarcasm.
All I can say is I-R-O-N-I-C. Supposedly we were promised if their relationships were called marriage, that disease and promiscuity would go away, yet in nations like Great Britain were they have legalized and given recognition to the union of same-sex marriage, HIV infection is becoming increasingly prevalent in the overall proportion of MSM.
Yeah, but the drugs to keep you alive longer are insanely expensive. Honestly, with more and more of the population infected, think of how much this is going to spike the healthcare costs on just about everyone.
Why don't I remember this?
I thought they wanted “marriage” so they could have hospital visitation rights to their lovers and be able to provide health care benefits to their “spouse”. Et cetera.
Basically the same legal benefits heterosexuals enjoy. I never expected them to be monogamous with or without this so called "marriage" charade.
Neither did I. I make fun of their own words and promises. It’s my own style.
