Just a little humor. The local grocery store where I live still has a real real meat counter. They don't shrink wrap meat, everything is in the case or cut for you,

Recently a Muslim was hired by the store. Instead of protesting when he serves me, I make him serve me pork. I am not too nice about it, I make him touch a lot of pork before buying any meat, which maybe beef or chicken.

If he were serious about Halal he wouldn’t be handling pork, just as Jews who are serious about kashrut don’t even set foot in non-kosher shops. Yeah, you’re mean, but you’re also wasting your time, and maybe showing a little ignorance. What if this fellow may not be crazy about his job but he is working hard to support his family and pay Uncle Sam, just like so many other citizens are? And what if he’s not a moslem, anyway? Is there a sin on him that says “Moslem?” Have you considered the possibility that he may be an Arab Christian? Or Druze? Or Sikh? Or nothing at all? Might he have come here to flee persecution in his native land? Might he be the fellow who helps you or someone you love one day? Might he be a U.S. veteran?

What does 9/11 have to do with harassing some random grocery store worker who happens to be Muslim? It's not like the guy has a problem handling pork - if he did, I doubt he would be working behind the meat counter at a grocery store.

I am really sorry, because I admire you as a poster. I strongly agree that we should become Muslim to oppose Muslims. It’s unAmerican and unChristian. If he works there, he will have to serve you pork if that is what you really came to buy. But to make him handle a lot of it just to abuse him is sadistic. You are not acting as a good representative of your own religion.

It’s kinda like asking a Baptist to serve you alcohol. Muslims drink and eat pork. They just don’t admit it. I think the largest private wine collection in the world is owned by a Muslim. We have lots of Muslims working in the university dining halls and they handle pork and the Hindus handle beef.

As another said, how do you know where his hands were before he put them on the meat?

How do you know that he does not have a little cup under his work table with a little urine in it?
