Jamie Foxx called President Barack Obama “our lord and savior” while presenting at the2012 Soul Train Awards in Las Vegas, Nev.
“It’s like church over here. It’s like church in here. First of all, give an honor to God and our lord and savior Barack Obama, Barack Obama,” Foxx said.
The comment by the comedian and actor was received warmly with shouts and applause from the audience.
Foxx has long been an advocate for Obama, as have many other celebrities, such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Eva Longoria and George Clooney.
Jay-Z performed at Obama’s final rally in Ohio prior to his reelection. Longoria, Clooney, Beyoncé and her husband, Jay-Z, are among notable stars who have hosted fundraisers in support of Obama being elected for a second term.
On election night, Katy Perry wrote, “The people have the power! Proud to stand by you for four more years,” after Obama tweeted to his followers, “This happened because of you. Thank you.”
Avid supporter Eva Longoria wrote, “Amazing speech by @BarackObama reelected for his 2nd term! America is and can be united for the greater good of all Americans!"
Lady Gaga wrote, “I just got off the stage in Columbia!! Congratulations Mr. President @BarackObama We are so proud to be an American tonight! Yes!! Yes! Yes!!”

Blacks cheer Obama yet what the hell has Obama done for the black community..NOTHING..black unemployment is sky high yet blacks continue to enjoy being on the plantation known as the Democrat Party..I will never understand it..I guess they are hoping for reparations to come their way
I guess he thinks it is better to worship a horse’s @ss than a golden calf. Anyway, I feel sorry for him because he is hopelessly lost.
I think he is trying to get publicity he does have a movie coming out. If he is serious maybe God will talk to him about it. I think all of Hollywood is full of crap and that is why I will not support them with my wallet.

Never in my life have I seen such blind adoration and worship of such an open liar. I don't think there is a rock star, celebrity or public figure alive today that receives these kinds of comments. And when was the last time you saw a politician with the ability to magnify himself as Obama does?

You’re lucky you didn’t live in China during the heyday of Mao Tse Tung. But then again, you’re seeing something akin to that in the good old USA today.

There will be Christians who know and will not be believed but THE anti-Christ will be welcomed and cheered by Christians worldwide, and other religions will follow.
There maybe many anti-Christs who come and go, however THE anti-Christ must full fill certain things and still we will not know the the time or date of the end.
We can only prepare.
I wonder if Obmessiah will denounce and rebuke this blatant blasphemy or if he will, like Herod, revel in this heretical "worship". If he chooses the latter, as is his nature, the next question is: Will Almighty God "deal" with Obama in the same manner in which he dealt with Herod? See Tagline
It wasn’t too long ago that we wondered how in the world would one man gain that much power and how could people be so gullible to follow so blindly. It’s amazing how quickly we are moving toward the end times. Daily now I see signs that only a short time ago I would have said would take years to develop. What a joy and peace to know the Lord in times like these and understand the prophesies of His prophets.
