Blogger, pilot, screenwriter, and conservative speaker Bill Whittle introduces himself to the stars of conservative activism by delivering a fiery 15-minute speech to the Restoration Weekend gathering last week.
WOW!
This is amazing.
BFL. Whittle is a superstar whether one supported a weak candidate like Romney or not.
Bill Whittle is the most engaging speaker in the Republican party. I didn’t want him to stop. We need candidates who can entertain and educate at the same time.
If conservatives sent out 50 male speakers like Bill Whittle to the states for the next 4-years to talk about conservative issues like this; and, if they spoke only to young male voters (of any color), conservatives could radicalize a generation.
One thing: We are a nation based on Christian values. Leave that out and it’s a waste of time.
Sarah Palin is all you could ask for, especially if we back her
Feminists chase away the young men. It won’t work.
But there aren't fifty male speakers like Bill Whittle. There is one.
One thing: We are a nation based on Christian values. Leave that out and its a waste of time.
Whittle is not a Christian.
I didn’t say he was.
I’m talking about America and how to reclaim our youth. It won’t work if we leave out Christian values.
Do yourself a favor and read some his essays there. I guarantee you'll be raving about them to others.
I do keep up with him. And of course I have been listening to back numbers of his Stratosphere Lounge vids, where he rambles for an hour and a half. It amazes me that he can come up with such brilliant answers off the top of his head.
BTW, does anyone know how to edit a few minutes out of a video on YouTube? I’d like to post just a couple of extraordinary minutes of one of his videos, not the whole hour.
Bing search results on 'edit YouTube videos':

Thank you, but I’m not interested in editing my own videos—I want to edit one of Bill’s. That would require his consent, and then I’d have to download it somehow to an MP4 format, then edit it in Moviemaker or something.
I understood that, which is why I posted the link those search results. Bill's videos are on YouTube, and those that aren't, are probably in the MP4 format (as most YT videos are).
The results on that page will lead you to any number of tools to achieve what you're trying to accomplish.
I think it's admirable of you to seek his permission to capture a key moment in one of his talks in order to re-post it for maximum impact. Personally, I think he'll be happy to give you his blessing. He's all about getting the conservative message out, after all. The free promotion can't hurt, either.
Actually, I think it's a great idea. Whittle's voice is as valuable to our time, as Thomas Paine's was to the founding generation. As many people as possible need to hear him.
Bump, and thanks for reposting this. I’d seen it linked before but hadn’t been able to take the time to watch until now.
