I'm normally a Saturday afternoon college football watching guy but came across the Hallmark Channel and haven't switched up until this posting. They're showing Christmas specials from now until the holiday and they are really great. So if you want to watch some wholesome TV, then check it out..........Adios

No. I refuse to watch, or condone wall-to-wall Christmas programing until Thanksgiving is over.

Hallmark is great stuff. I turned my mom on to Hallmark channel (and its sister station Hallmark Movie Channel), and she’s hooked. I enjoy it quite a bit as well, though my absolute favorite station is MeTV - I never miss the “Sunday Night Noir” lineup.

Uverse (ATT) doesn’t carry it (some problem from 4 or 5 years ago).

I can’t get all the channels I want in any one place without installing a dish (which local ordinance says I have to install on my deck and that ain’t gonna happen).

Time Warner doesn’t carry the NFL channel and has the worst service and DVR User Interface in the know planet. I despised everything about them for the time I had them.

I really hope Uverse gets Hallmark back. Despite their propensity to create and broadcast chick flicks it is a very wholesome network.

Plus, Hallmark is made in China, and the program has too many commercials. Need A DVR to watch.

No. I refuse to watch,

Sorry I mentioned it, feel free to stick with the homosexual based sitcoms...........

If there's anything consistent with FR it's that there is always someone who feels the need to step forward and piss into the fan............

I don't know what Hallmark you're watching but the one I have on has half the commercials that regular programming has.......

And what do you mean Hallmark is made in China?

Fair enough. In this case it is not because I don’t like Hallmark, or I don’t like Christmas, or for that mater, even because I don’t like you.

It is because I really object to the attempt to eliminate that most American of all holidays, the day when America literally gives thanks to God Himself for His favor.

It is the one day that we celebrate those most evil of all creatures, white Europeans, whose crimes include coming to a new land to worship as they wished, spreading their foul civilization and establishing individual freedoms and democracy.

Throw us a bone Hallmark, come celebrate Thanksgiving with America, rather than try to hide from it in apparent shame.

Hallmark is hiding in shame by their current programing choices????????

I've got nothing to say about that except sheesh!..........

Agreed! Hallmark is especially great at this time of year!! Lifetime Movie Network and ABC Family tend to have pretty good Christmas movies virtually around the clock in December, too. LMN’s Christmas movies aren’t necessarily all girlie, either, so a guy might be able to stomach, them. :)

Thanks for the reminder about Hallmark!

I, for one, enjoy watching the Christmas shows on Hallmark, and have for several years, now. It is a nice, refreshing change of pace, after all the political shows I’ve been watching over the course of many months. And compared to all the other junk on TV...well, as I said, I find it rather refreshing. And goodness, some of the movies actually show families worshiping at church, and praying together!! Imagine that!!

two really good ones are Christmas in November and A Christmas Card. Good family movies and all with a happy ending.

I’m with you, nully. I’m keeping my November Spiders and Day of the Dead Skulls up until the first Sunday of Advent, December 2. Sometime in December, weather permitting, we’ll put up our white Advent Lights.

The spread of “Christmas” into October is absolutely insane. We’ll start celebrating Christmas on the night of December 24!

You and I can be the ones responding to “Merry Christmas!” with “What, it’s Christmas? Damn, I was really drunk, wasn’t I!”

Hallmark Christmas movies are like a breath of fresh air. Some few are a bit silly but for the most part they’re good and wholesome.

I do not try to rope people in on my boycotts, but I do not feel comfortable with Hallmark anymore since they came out with a line of greeting cards designed for homosexual relationships.

In the past couple of years, Hallmark’s become my favorite channel for the holidays.
