Sounds like fun.
I stay out of stores on that day and pretty much the whole “holiday season.”
I prefer CyberMonday.
I just don’t see fighting the crowds to save $1 off a $5 item at 6:00am on Black Friday.
Last year on CyberMonday, I got an I5 desktop computer for $429 and a 24” monitor for $119.
A few years earlier, I got a color laser printer for $149 — shipping paid.

If one takes the time and searches many of the black-Friday cyber-Monday websites, they can find some excellent bargains.
Personally, I refuse to shop on days when I wouldn't want to work myself. That includes Sundays and religious holidays, as well as civil holidays that I take off just to get a break from work.
We don’t do Black Friday- never have. One year hubby was hauling some horses somewhere on BF and had some wiring issues on his trailer and told me he was going to stop at Walmart to get electrical tape. I laughed at him and told him he likely couldn’t get anywhere near Walmart, tried to explain BF to him- he thought I was crazy. When he got near Walmart he figured out what I was trying to tell him and went somewhere else. He was so amazed at the whole thing, he had never paid any attention.
I do shop some of the sales online but never in person.
It’s a good idea to have a throwaway “spam gourmet” email address handy for such events.
You can even specify if you’d like to get a few emails from the spammer, forwarded to your real email address, before anything else they send is automatically trashed so you never see it.
I used to live right down the street from Walmart. I tried the Black Friday thing. The Darwin theory comes to mind. Never ever again. Never.
Meanwhile, in all of this frenzy, Thanksgiving ends up getting lost in the shuffle.
What they will say: “ Minorities get more!”
11. “We only have 5 of those advertised items...and there is 100 peope in front of you.”
12. “These items are crap you wouldn’t normally want.”
13. “Wait 3 days until Monday and get them for the same price somewhere else.”
14. “All these products are the low, really low, end of the range for such products.”
15. “SUCKERS!!!”
How about, “if you worked for a few hours, you could make more money than you save by standing in line a few hours.”
Only one time did I participate in a black Friday extravaganza...Kmart because they had vacuum clearners on sale with a free dust buster thrown in. All these women standing outside this store with shopping carts at the ready. As the doors were unlocked that cool morning, one lone male voice called out...ladies start your engines...I was the only female who laughed out load...non of the other women got the joke. I called back to the guy...I’m the one who will be drinking milk after this day. And yes, I got my vacuum and dustbuster.
11. Each store will have about 3 each of the item that hundreds are lined up to get.
11. If it weren’t for you Christians who buy Christmas gifts our economy would be sunk ... but we hate you anyway.
