Congratulations to Jim Robinson for His Political Sagacity Overwhelmingly Accurate

Posted on 11/10/2012 3:00:14 PM PST by lbryce

The maelstrom of political controversy regarding Free Republic founder Jim Robinson and his attitude towards the then Republican presidential candidate front runner and odds-on favorite to win the nomination, as anointed by the msm as the weakest candidate in the Repuplican field, was one punctuated by severe criticism of Mr. Robinson for his uncompromising, vituperative take-no-prisoners stance towards the liberal bent, RINO candidate Mr. Romney,as unacceptable under any circumstances as Republican Party nominee in the 2012 presidential election.

While his intensely vociferous stance against Mr. Romney surprised, confused, alienated many, the political rationale for the utter blanket rejection of Mr. Romney as candidate was one that remained fundamentally true to the principles of Conservatism, in that Mr.Romney in his record of being a liberal-bent, RINO, had not earned the right to wear the crown as Repubican party nominee as champion, defender of party principles, when he espouses liberal policies that true Republican conservatives find particularly galling equally unacceptable.

In the end, months after the controversy had died down, the election of 2012 having ended, it comes as no surprise to have ended in the manner in which Mr. Robinson did all that he could and more, the sagacity and prescience in which he had already determined the outcome to the election is one in which should teach us all not to repeat the mistakes of the past and to heed those we have faith and admiration for in their reading of the political map and and its various minefields.

Last one to leave please turn out the lights.

Dear Conductor:

Well, speaking of periods, your own sorry period has come and gone

It has gone, but with no sorrow.

Freedom goes though cycles. Commonly, in history, it only peaks it's head above the waves over the wind of your kind of thinking.

The Constitution only lasted so long in that it enumerated against common thinking, rather than prescribing it.

I don't have a problem with the recent vote. I was born onto a land of humans, I know them, and the fact that this country was a statistical anomaly fighting nature was not lost on me.

"Why do you suppose so many Republicans are anti-Palin, anti-Bachmann and anti-Cain?"

There are too many liberal republicans like Romney and his GOP-e, Rockefeller Republican friends. They were anti-Reagan too. They were and still are wrong.

Thank the Lord that Jim Robinson has created this conservative site. Republicans, particularly the liberals, can go pound sand.

There are too many liberal republicans

Then how do you expect a "conservative" to ever gain the nomination?

No, there is no such thing as a perfect Candidate.

But there are ones who will actually stand up and push back against the Progressive agenda.

Not introduce their own less Socialistic, less government totalitarian legislation on an unwilling public.

Men (or Women) who stand on conviction and Principles will win the day, not every time or all the time, but they will help strengthen the Oak of Freedom, not rot it less slowly from the inside-out.

I'm sorry but you have it backwards. I defy you to find one,ONE, discourteous, uncivil exchange initiated by me against anyone. You won't find a single one. Not in any of the 1,050 posts I've contributed here at FR.

Here is the chronology of events regarding the messages exchanged and you will see in black and white that it has been you who has been rude, gauche, tacky, mindless, behaving beyond the pale, like the uncivilized rapscallion you are.

You've initiated every insult without the slightest, you provocation, you were the one whose persona is characterized by total disregard for civility and fair play. You have been the one who has initiated every follow-up insult I responded to with.

I have treated you with respect and dignity with every message I initiated. You on the other hand from the very first message (go ahead and look at it if you have the courage) began with the insulting comments, a theme of yours that runs through all of your messages to me. So, please, don't be calling he kettle black.

To: lryce Support for Jim and John - I’m for. As for your points ... no thanks. 21 posted on Saturday, November 10, 2012 6:30:30 PM by HannibalHamlinJr

To: lbryce Today my cat chased off an animal twice her size. This is not a new phenomenon. She is evidently the runt of her litter, but still raised a family in the wild.

I promised to answer by tomorrow, but for now my fingers are getting tired.

I don't think I brought up gay marriage "Was it gay marriage that you said you didn’t have a problem with?" My mentor in my industry is quite gay, it's something that doesn't resonate with me, but nor does 443 hertz, and that doesn't mean I resent my guitar. Gay marriage is a re-definition of a word, which is how the left attacks the constitution. So no, I'm not for it.

And anyway (grammar error!) that's a dangling participle (end of your quote.) Send me good thinking, good grammar - something cogent, and I will respond. Since I already promised to respond to your earlier thought by tomorrow, I will keep my word on that reguardless. (dangling in nature, technically OK.)

Thank you for your reply. I was interested in knowing what you were referring in the message when you originally sent it. But at this point it is really not necessary for you to make the effort to respond. Thank very much for the courtesy of your reply.

To: lbryce Is there anything I can do to help you, anything, to help ameliorate the suffering, anxiety, pain, you are experiencing

... second in the top ten responses to manufactured suffering by liberals.

Yes, please raise taxes against the people who are causing you to suffer, so they can can hire fewer people, so you can have a new catastrophe.

I just lost a dear friend last night, only for saying "But 2 + 2 = 4". If anyone's confused ... this is pretty much the end of Lord of the Rings.

Great, you can expect your first period in a couple years.

Well, speaking of periods, your own sorry period has come and gone and without much to show for it, never to return but then again it’s always been your hope that the circus side-show will someday make a comeback. Give regards to Joseph Merrick and the Pygmy Tabernacle Choir you once again will be conducting.

“So then please tell me who the perfect conservative candidate was that you believe could have beaten Obama.”

Alaska Wolf - You apparently cannot read. Did I say anything about a “perfect” candidate to “win” with during what just occurred? NO, I did not. I said “lose with dignity” having someone that represented what I believed.

However, I believe that several of the candidates would have represented me well. IF I had to chose the best for this cycle, it would have been Newt Gingrich.

Oh Wait, Reagen stuck by his PRINCIPLES.

And the funny thing about that is that the Reagan democrats (mostly union members) largely voted on the social issues he espoused. He sure as hell didn't win them over on promises of goodies and power.

The clowns who angrily rant about us purists who wouldn't accept anything less than the perfect candidate don't seem capable of noting that nearly all of us went through a series of candidates before being stuck with the least perfect candidate.

Hell I supported 3 separate candidates and could have found it far easier to vote for three others over Romney.

Actually I find it kind of interesting that the "moderates" made it very clear early on that they would sit out the election before voting for Ron Paul. I'm no fan but would have voted for him.

Didn't Ron run as a Libertarian candidate for POTUS once? Didn't his son, Rand, a US Senator, endorse Romney?

I think we would have gotten some brutally honest fiscal honesty out of him.

The tea partier who took Thad McCotter’s formerly moderate seat came under repeated fire from one particularly strident FReeper who wanted the GOP party selected write in candidate. Every thing from claims of abusing students when he was a high school teacher to a rumor that he was behind the mess that caused McCotter to step down (The state attorney general said that Bentivolio wasn’t involved when charges against the McCotte staffers were announced) Finally a day or so before the election that FReeper came running with a politico story that claimed that Bentivolio was going to prison. It looked like it was just a vengeful former brother in law.

Yes, but at least Ron Paul, Santorum , or bachmann would have given more of a choice. I voted RR and would do so again, but looking at everything, Romney came across as a richer version of Obama to the masses IMHO.

Isn't that what the primaries were for? We had choices. Romney wasn't mine, but the thought of 4 more years of Obama gave me cause to vote for the most viable alternative. IMO. if conservatives don't begin to coalesce for a candidate like liberals do, we'll never win another national election.
