They will closely scrutinize your need and adjust your pay downward to reach a parity with your wife’s paycheck. That way you will both be receiving the same amount for your needs as defined by the pay equality board. Don’t forget this is a difficult job and we can only hire the best for the board and must pay them a six figure salary with all the benefits for the important work they do deciding how much everyone’s work is worth.
