Coincidentally though, another story on Drudge shows RECORD early voting in Iowa... and, largely Democrat. Might be too late for this endorsement to matter...
But still.... I’m SHOCKED that Des Moines would endorse a Rep....
wow..I was 5 months old the last time this paper endorsed a Republican for President in 1972. This paper is one of the most left leaning papers in the country. I stopped reading it years ago it was so hard to read. This is a big endorsement.
Can’t wait for the impeachment proceedings.
On his radio show last week, Rush said he would be “stunned” if the Des Moines Register endorsed Romney.

News and rumors are these guys livelihoods and they know exactly what is going on and the leaky dam they are desperately plugging up. Has anybody on this site seen the likes of the types of rumors coming out of Washington that we are now seeing about Lybia and this administration???
This stuff makes every past political scandal or mishap seem like child's play. IF this stuff actually gets aired out and criminalized, corruption will never be associated with Republicans and Watergate again.
