Trump’s challenge would have been more effective if he had lined up some heavyweights to support him: i.e. Cheney, Rumsfeld, McCain and a few conservative celebrities.
He is viewed as just another narcissist Billy Clinton with bad hair.

Donald screwed up. He should have said I will release it to Michelle's charity of choice that supports children with cancer!
If he would have done it that way he would have made Obama look like a total loser for denying $5 million easy money to a children's charity.

It smells to me like Trump has the records; but his lawyers advised him not to reveal them because of whatever strings he pulled to get them. So rather than reveal them, he put a challenge to see what Obama will do. It reminds me of the Rush Limbaugh table-turning on Dirty Harry Reid, which ended up garnering a huge donation to the war wounded.
Not only will Obama have to ignore this and look bad, or reveal and look bad or possibly be unseated; he would also have to reveal his left-wing charity choices. Any way he turns, it’s a trap.

This is just about the best possible “surprise.” I’m relieved. My expectations were very low.
Donald is a goof. I knew this was going to be a dud. He just needed attention again. How many times are we going to give this guy any credence? It is even funnier that some FREEPERS are sticking up for him.....lol. Some FREEPERS will support anyone and everyone no matter how ridiculous.
Your take on Trump is absolutely brilliant. What most people here do not understand is Trump knows how to play hardball. Trump has amassed a successful business and personal fortune worth 1000 times larger than most posters who can not see how shrewd Trump is playing this. You do not become that successful by being stupid.
