Longtime Democratic Strategist Bob Beckel says if Gallup numbers are accurate "this election is over" on Fox News' afternoon show "The Five"
Sure, don’t ever underestimate the Clinto machine, and Libs’ misty eyed obssession with BillyJeff.
But hildabeast as you say is done. Hence the hint from the daughter about treading water in politics.
Of course Chelsea says she’s certainly ‘feel a strong call of public service’. Ha! Ha Ha!
Scott has to stop with the +5 Dem BS and switch to 0 or D +1 or else he will miss the boat way off like he did in 2000.
Just go bold Keith. Go with the real numbers.
Scott, not Keith!
Speaking of things that are over....Detroit leads the Yanks 6-0 in the bottom of the 4th.
Obama campaign will be studied as example of political self immolation.
I have two sons and their wives who would be happy with that. Then they will go out and vote for Romney/Ryan.
I’m more fearful of a Democratic dirty trick in the coming days and a military strike against Libya, probably on Monday; anything to reverse the momentum in the final days of the campaign. Between the Octsuprise website and the rumors about Gloria Allred, something is going on. I’m guessing the website will release what’s purported to be Romney tax returns, and Allred has found someone who will claim to have had an affair with Paul Ryan (don’t think there’s any way they could pin that charge on Romney).
As for the Libya attack, it’s all but a certainty. Desperate effort to make Barry look presidential in the final days of the campaign. And don’t rule out something against Iran, either. As Obama sees it, even if it doesn’t salvage his re-election, it will leave Romney with another mess to clean up.
Team Romney needs to be ready to for anything. This campaign is going to have a very nasty finish.
Same here! And since I have to work starting at midnight it’s very rarerly on at my house.
Later at work (radio news and prep) I might watch it and Redeye for some info.
Can I just shamelessly step in here and claim to be the very first person to use the phrase "Obama Nation" about Obama? December 2006, if not sooner, it's hard to tell because our search function is so poor.
He isn’t savvy. He could have shifted to the right on energy policy and a few other issues and set himself up for reelection. He also could have spent the pork filled stimulus in a more politically competent manner.
I hope you are RIGHT!!!
You may be rightbut Hillary will be too old in 2016. She already looks like a twice-baked potato skin: hold the bacon bits.
She’s big enough to be an offensive lineman in the NFL
December 2006? Could be! Could possibly have been used somewhere outside of here before that, though.
“Beckel is not his usual spunky self.”
True, but he did say something to the effect “unless something surfaces at the last minute” (paraphrasing), and wouldn’t comment further when other panel members asked for elaboration.
I think it is too late. This snuck up on them, they were believing their own rhetoric.
When he loses, it will be interesting to see if he takes the entire country down with him, refusing to hear the voters and vetoing any financial deals. Any hint he is planning on doing that, and it gets out, not only will he go down, but he will take his entire rot infested party with him....good riddance.
The election is not over until the polls close in Alaska and Hawaii.
I plan to be at the polling station 30 minutes before it opens in case my car breaks down. I am driving five neighbors who have various illnesses.
DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYONE WHO SAYS IT’S OVER. It will not be over until Air Force One leaves Andrews for Hawaii with the Obamas on board, and it may not be over then.
NINETEEN DAYS. BALLS TO THE WALL.
The Eagles need some help protecting Vick. [Or not.]
Bob is having nightmares from ‘84
This is big. Nobody knows more about losing elections than Bob Beckel.
After the second debate, there was another poll on the Coast to Coast website.
Results?
Romney won 60%, zero got 29%, remaining undecided.
Now I tent to think people who listen to late night radio are alot of J6P’s, butchers, bakers, and candlestick makers.
Not overpaid TV talking heads and Little Red Book carrying college professors.
I think he’s toast. A couple more lies or blatant misdirection in the next debate and he might as well buy his plane ticket back to the windy city!
